My Baby's Coming
No, I haven't lost my mind and decided to have a child. But, like adoptive parents who mail-order a child from China, mine's coming from Texas, and it's just daaaarling, and I know many people will breathe a lot easier once it's here. ETA for my little bundle of joy? September 21. Feel free to help me name my baby.

Seven letters or less, and remember how prissy they are at DOT. I was thinking of ECOTIST. Then again, I don't normally like personalized license plates...but if I can come up with something clever, I might do it. A sales pitch for the environment or something. GOGREEN is taken. Also, I'm going to do a new anti-SUV campaign soon, and it might be better to be not-so-identifiable!

Yeah, that's gonna fly! I would like INTELLI-BIMBO, but it's too long.

I'd call it either Tochigi, the factory where it's made or Suzuka, the city it's made in.

I was hoping for something eco-cheeky, and a bit catchier.

Can I have the Rambler? And can I paint it something butch?

Rambler is gone, but you can buy my 1970 280SE white four-door Mercedes.

Think they'll allow "Harlot"?

Posted by: LYT at September 16, 2004 3:03 PM

How about "dÈesse"? Combine several of your loves? I'm sure the California Police won't mind if you add a little piece of electrical tape to the plate for the accent... (all for the sake of grammatical correctness, mind you!) ;)

I answer first to the grammar police, actually.

If interested in a personalized plate, but don't normally like personalized license plates, then you should get one with 7 random digits.

Problem solved and the ultimate in subtlety.
