Susan Spano Has Company
The LA Times' Mary McNamara will be assisting people with sleep disorders by "blogging" from Cannes.

I don't know, it still wasn't as bad as Susan Spano. Let's give her a few more days before we hang her for good. If she gets a whole column out of the Leopard Ladies, though, she's out of the running.

No, it's not as bad. At least the lady seems to be making an effort.

"No one quite knows how to pronounce [Cannes]". Oh please.....

Actually I thought today's (Wednesday's) entry was pretty good. For me, it captured the flavor of Cannes, and despite the continual circus atmosphere there, it's actually hard to get a really fresh take on it. I say, fire Susan Spano and send Mary and her kids to Paris.

Pity the blog doesn't have a comment link. I'd like to advise her to quit eating americanized food (yes I know pizza is Italian) and get a decent salade niçoise in a place where it's the best in the world.
