Abramoff Writes...
Check out the e-mail Abramoff wrote to friends before going to jail. My favorite bit:

One day, G-D willing, we will know why all of this had to happen.

Um...he doesn't know why this "had to happen"? Um, being morally bankrupt, corrupt, and in general, a scamming scumbag might have had something to do with it.

Write to Jack, as I did, and help him understand the error of his ways:

JACK ABRAMOFF
REGISTER NUMBER: 27593-112
FPC - P.O. BOX 1300
CUMBERLAND, MD 21501-1300

Hey, Jack, here's a little assistance right off the bat, from Forbes:

Abramoff, who parlayed campaign donations and expensive gifts into political influence, arrived at about 6:30 a.m. EST at a relatively secluded prison facility in western Maryland. He will serve a nearly six-year sentence for a fraudulent Florida business deal.

"This nightmare has gone on for almost three years so far and I expect we are not even half way through," Abramoff wrote in an e-mail to friends before dawn Wednesday.

Still hanging over Abramoff is a public corruption case in Washington, where prosecutors are investigating Bush administration officials, federal lawmakers and their aides. Abramoff pleaded guilty in that case and is helping prosecutors.

Who knows, perhaps he'll soon have some friends to keep him company -- all of whom are sure to be equally clueless as to why they're there.

I guess accountability has become just another quaint, old-fashioned notion that only applies anymore to the unwashed masses, not the ruling elites.

Or at least in the eyes of the Bush Adminstration, corrupt lobbyists and politicians, and closeted gay fundie preachers.

Yet another religious nutter who talks a god game but is lax of morals and ethics...whenever it $erves him and his cronies.

He's the fiscal version of Haggard.

It's a classic quote, you must admit. "Poor little me, just gawd's pawn. Just as you are weak and powerless (in the face of corporate and political power), so am I (in the face of almighty gawd). So we are really alike, you and I. And we both BELIEVE. So if you punish me, it's like punishing yourself."

All that and more in just a dozen words.

The first I heard of Abraham Jackoff (as he was called in High School) was in Al Franken's latest book, "The Truth (with jokes)." Franken writes of Jackoff's dealings with Native Americans and even gives some of the email exchanges between him and Scanlon. Jackoff can't even contain his contempt for the AmerInds he is busily swindling.

Of the Choctaw's, Jackoff writes,

We need to get some $ from those monkeys!!!!

Of the Saginaw Chippewa,

These mofos are the stupidest idiots in the land for sure.

But he still held out hope that they would retain his services,
Can you smell money?!?!?!

Jackoff must be a two finger type typist. I can't imagine anyone who knows how to touchtype wanting to alternate exclaimation points with question marks. Alternating pinkies on opposite corners of the board. I do okay at touch-typing, but I know my limitations.

Back to Jackoff and Scanlon:

Jackoff: The f-ing troglodytes didn't vote on you today.

Scanlon: These knuckleheads are never going to do it.

Jackoff: Yes, they will.

Scanlon: What's a troglodyte?

Jackoff: What am I, a dictionary? It's a lower form of existence, basically.

And to Ralph Reed, Jackoff writes:

I wish those moronic Tiguas were smarter in their political contributions. I'd love us to get our mitts on that moolah!! Oh well, stupid folks get wiped out.

Yes, Jackoff, they do.

So, in my letter to Abraham Jackoff, I'll be sure to include "racism" in list of many other failings that could have contributed to his being where he is today.
