In June, "mann" Coulter said she hopes John Edwards gets assasinated in a terrorist attack.
The name "she-devil" isn't strong enough for that bitch!

I find it rather quaint. In fact, I might just put it on my next business card.

I just find it hard to understand why purportedly serious people dignify Coulter by responding to anything she says.

I totally agree. But, I think the major story in this case is ABC, rather than Edwards or Coulter.

ABC engaged in pure journalistic negligence.

They probably should have covered the real story about John Edwards that was posted in the Wall Street Journal.

But, the elitists continue to tell the audience, “The customer is always wrong and too stupid to know what good Journalism is.”

Here's what Coulter said on Good Morning America:
“If I'm going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, I'll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.”

This was shortly after she called him a "faggot" and said he exploits the death of his teenage son for sympathy.
Her pathetic "court jester" insults are wearing thin.

Here is my full sentence on "Good Morning America," which the media deceptively truncated, referring to a joke I told about Edwards six months ago that made liberals cry: "But about the same time, you know, Bill Maher was not joking and saying he wished Dick Cheney had been killed in a terrorist attack — so I've learned my lesson: If I'm going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, I'll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.

Get it? Ann was just claiming that "liberals" are given a pass when they express an earnest wish for others to suffer.

Being offended gives no one a pass on the details. If you must be mad at a professional muckraker, be mad for the right reasons. It's important to get things right, because otherwise, the person you oppose can correctly claim that you're wrong about them.

Coulter isn't as "popular" as she used to be. She's good with insults but she has no substance, no true political "theory" and no intellectual thoughts on any subject. That's why I called her a court jester. She seems so fake.
Unfortunately, Bush has proved to be the biggest jester in Washington D.C. and he's not funny, either.

It might not be appropriate, but at least he pegged Coulter correctly.

Coulter's sharpest talents are (1) her complete lack of self-awareness - I could not say the things she does without wishing to erase myself from existence for being so evilly banal; and (2) she got me to write this post, thus supporting her existence.

Well, Rose, are you one of those who think that one man runs the government; who lets Congress shirk their Constitutional duties in order to concentrate their hate of the status quo on one man?

Why I shake my head in wonder is quite simple: legions of people claim to be superior to George Bush, Ann Coulter, {insert name here} - and then promptly demonstrate there is no basis for their assumed position. In the process, these "superior" people abase themselves. Some are grossly rude when called on their errors and/or biases. I am glad to see you have remained calm.

People want to feel good, not think. Just as every society has a phrase for "he is a stranger and therefore a barbarian", people invent all sorts of fantasies about how things would be better if only they were in charge, or their advice was heeded - if only someone would pay attention to them instead of a rich blonde who is fun to look at and a hoot to listen to!

Hey, I have free entertainment for you: the next time you see a celebrity quote, take it and apply it to a different celebrity. This will let you see how much merit the statement has without the emotional baggage you've added because of the identity of the speaker.

Meanwhile, you're looking at political theater. You might find it as appealing as Marilyn Manson, but it actually has something in common with Marilyn: it's entertainment, which goes on while serious deals occur elsewhere.

Actually, Bill Maher did NOT wish Dick Cheney dead. Here, from Fox News, is what he said:

Also, why should anyone still defend George Bush, after all the death and destruction he's created due to his war?
