Photo, by CJDavis, on flickr, of an elderly nun getting felt up at Detroit Metro Airport. Meanwhile, screeners are missing 75% of fake bombs planted at LAX.

The flag in the background makes the shot, that is priceless.

Is the security woman wearing a head thing (not quite a hijab but it's covering her hair)? Not sure if it's just her hair or what b/c the picture is dark.
But, if it IS a head scarf, is that supposed to make it easier for her to racial profile? Very, very sneaky, sir (name that movie).
...here's a hint, nuns don't want to blow us up - they're waiting for Jerusalem to implode on its own and then the Catholics can cruise on in w/o any problems.

I thought she looked like one of the gang members who wear nylon stockings over her head, but I profile her as somebody who needs to wash her hair.
Note the wheelchair. The nun may have a little trouble rushing the cockpit and trying to strangle the pilot and copilot with her rosary.
Hey, I'm at Gate A74 of Detroit Metro at this very moment. I always feel like I should light up as I straighten my clothing and tuck my hair back in after those checkpoints, especially now that they have that they have the bomb-sniffing machine here that literally blows you.

Poor dear, whatever are you doing there?
P.S. My favorite thing to do in Detroit is to get to the airport, go right to the in-airport Westin ("heavenly beds" and all) and never leave, but Gregg always insists that we go into town...sigh!
Airport security is a fucking joke, it is a smoke and mirrors show designed to make people FEEL secure, not to acctually make them safe.
Stop and think one moment, it what universe is it a comforting thought that airport security is UNABLE to tell the difference between water and explosives?
I defy anyone to give me one, just one, exapmle of airport security foiling anything.
And tell me, how is the TSA going to stop someone from exploding a bomb BEFORE the security checkpoint?
How are they going to stop a van filled with explosives and parked in a parking structure on top of a terminal?
It is monumental en masse stupidity like this that explains my hatred for the majority of the morons I meet in this world

It looks like the TSA girl is trying to get her hand up the old nun's snatch. I'm reminded of Dante's warning at the gates of Hell: "Abandon all hope ye who enter here."

Well, the good news is that TSA isn't uniformily incompetent. The miss rate at SFO is relatively low at 20%.

Which is great, except if it's a real bomb, and you're on the plane with Muqtada.

What bothers me Amy is that Nun doesn't look the least bit pregnant.
A pregnant Nun might make me wonder what's real and what isn't, but I just gotta admit I'd likely just pass the lady through from the looks of it. (I'm pretty darned skeptical, too!)

How about this, in a 'balloon' over the TSA puke????

That is the fundy Protestants, not the Catholics.

Is that TSA thug wearing a hijab? Talk about an upside down world. When is the last time any Christian, Catholic or Protestant, who blew up a plane in the name of Yeshua? We are a foolish, suicidal nation kneeling to the god of Political Correctness. Meanwhile, our IslamoPig enemies laugh at us and plan the next attack. Fools.
