Kathy (or is it kathy?) you have me at something of a disadvantage because I am stuck behind the firewall today and can't view the youtube clips but the gist of your comments seems to be a skepticism about the dangers posed to Western civilization by Islam.
Granted, the rhetoric can sound hysterical at times. But doesn't it concern you that immigrants to countries that have laws to protect your rights are demanding to be allowed to break those laws in the name of "cultural sensitivity?"
Personally, I like to think radical Islam is a reaction to the fact that their culture IS dying. But the fact that public schools continue to ban bibles while building new bathrooms to accomodate Muslim prayer rituals is troubling. I don't think it is hysterical to observe that a free and perhaps too complacent people can be vulnerable to a determined and violent one.

I was addressing the concept of the "evil conspiracy theory" rather than any political discussion. These videos I have linked to are actually an in depth analysis of how the "rich and powerful few" have conspired to use the Federal Reserve to take over the US and then keep it's people living in fear while starting (or instigating) wars to generate income and cash flow. Now that they have taken over the economy (via WW I, WW II and Vietnam) they are using terrorism to begin the process of taking over the population so that they can be tagged with a "VeriChip" - the new method that will be used to buy, sell, travel etc... According to the fellow narrating, the public is being sold fear on a plate so that we willingly give up freedoms in order to be saved from the terrorists (i.e. if you are a terrorist suspect you can be arrested and detained without a laywer...can that be abused in the future, or even now?). Thus - the links I have posted would argue that the "vicious plan" for Islamic dominiation is actually propaganda by the "powerful few" to make us fear Islam and want to give up freedoms in order to protect us from it.

I am not commenting on the contents of either conspiracy theory (however the "new world order" links have so much research and detail that it sounds a heck of a lot more plausible than the one listed above...). I was simply pointing out that conspiracy theories are abundant, interesting and hard to believe.

Kathy, with all due respect (and yes I sat through the you tube clips), you're comparing apples to oranges. One is a conspiracy theory that frankly I just want said narrator to identify himself let alone back up what he's saying -- the other is a religious belief.

Christianity used to be this fanatical and we had the Crusades. Islam is rather at that stage now and has certainly made that evident. Should we sit back and just let another Dark Ages happen because we wouldn't want to disrespect those who are disrespecting us?
