A Big Howdy From The Rive Droit
Bel Costumé, 1973-1998. Sculpture outside musée Jeu de Paume by one of my modern French favorites, Jean Dubuffet And from a previous trip, here I am in the belly of the beast, same artist (scroll down the entry).
A Big Howdy From The Rive Droit
Art of all forms faciante me, not the art itself usually but peoples reaction to it.
I have a couple of freinds, the type of people you'd swear is one personality sharing two bodies, but when it comes to art they cant agree on anything.
Personally I dont get most contemperary art, or expresionist peices - I always felt they stumbled onto a gullible crowd willing to pay good cash for crap.
Never understood why people were so facinated with static landscapes or black and white photos either. Its a line I could never seem to find - that point were a photo tranceds into art
