"pig gets unruly on plane"
Jeez. Let's just bring crates of chickens and cook our own food in-flight on charcoal braziers while we're at it.
Is there some sort of plan to make us a third world country or something?

I keep thinking that hog represents a couple of pounds of bacon, and the rest would be quite tasty as well.
Meanwhile, at the Internet of Things, Popular Mechanics advices you buy the dumbest appliances you can find.
UNTIL I CAN OPERATE MY SAMSUNG TV, BLU-RAY PLAYER, AMAZON FIRE TV STICK, AND CISCO CABLE BOX WITH A SINGLE REMOTE CONTROL, THE INTERNET OF THINGS IS A HOAX.

I keep thinking it represents a laptop bag or piece of luggage that had to be left behind. 50-70 pounds of weight allowance used up so someone could bring a pet on vacation.
Although, if they'd crashed on a deserted island, a la Lost, no one would have been complaining about a missing garment bag while munching on someone's self-propelled emotional support meal.

Trigger discipline? ~ I R A Darth Aggie at November 14, 2017 9:18 AM
It's nice to know even veterans make stupid mistakes.
Then again, maybe it's not. These are the guys with the authority to storm my residence without warning based on a typo.
When I was taking my CCW class, the instructor went through a host of stupid accidents videos ('cause North Carolina requires the class portion of qualifying to be exactly eight hours long and if you finish in seven-and-a-half, the instructor shows videos and discusses them).
There was the one with an instructor who, after admonishing a class about trigger discipline, bloodied his own nose when the gun hit him in the face after an accidental discharge.

Or because their CI decided to make up shit. Or someone SWATted you. One of these days, they're going to be storming a building and one of the knuckleheads will have a negligent discharge, and the rest will open fire on the building because they think they're taking hostile fire.
Sorry, we shot you by mistake 47 times is small comfort.
Instead of arguing, let’s issue a dare to Congress: Stop dickering already and enact a law that would compel any entity that makes, sells, or uses encryption to place the one and only decryption key for their product or service — the Golden Key — in escrow with a newly created REA, the Responsible Encryption Agency.
Congress, will you stop the posturing and vote for such a law?
No. They would come to their senses and see the ugly consequences of the legislation.
