My New Toy
One of those as-seen-on-TV thingies, and yes, it really works.
I got the lower-level model at the drugstore for $10 after reading that it worked on Consumerist, but the supposedly better one is only $9.99 at the Amazon link above.

Another fan of the product here. It's not quite as effective as a callus rasp, but there's far less opportunity for injury and your feet don't have to be wet (in fact, they shouldn't be) for you to use it. I find it a bit difficult to pull apart and clean, but otherwise I give it two thumbs up.

A friend of mine has one; she loves it. I haven't seen it in a store yet, though.

It's really fun to use. I got mine last night at Rite-Aid. The one I linked to is apparently the deluxe model, but it's $9.99 like I paid.
Do it with your feet dry like the desert! Not wet or moist at all.

I almost used mine last night but got side tracked. I follow up with a foot file (like an emery board) and a super thick layer of good cream then put on thick cotton socks. I try to do this a few nights per week.
There is nothing worse than seeing a woman in revealing shoes and her cracked, calloused feet. It's actually a pet peeve of mine. Like, your feet are nasty. Cover that shit up.

Sheesh. You guys are weird. It's 'cause you're women.

Hmm, interesting. Might have to try this on my feet as they dry out and crack a lot. It work on elbows too?

I file my calouses using a dremel multi tool with a sanding drum attachment. Sounds crazy but it works. They're gone in mere seconds and it really doesn't hurt at all, even if you drift off the calloused area onto normal skin.

My battle against the cracks and calluses is titanic and never-ending. Every little bit helps...

Ew. Gross.

Cool! I was wondering if this thing worked. it seemed like it would, but so many things that seem that way don't. Thanks for the tip!
P.S. Why do men want soft women but are grossed out by what it requires to get that way?

I love my PedEgg too, Amy! Only problem is that I feel like the blades don't last too long. I need to get a replacement.
