Dumb thief didn't know the little old lady had stopped by the store for a can of whup-ass! I wonder how he'll explain all this to his cellmates?

Yes, it is easy to admire her courage if you don't think it through very well.
However, to me this says much more about the crook than about her. He is lawless enough to try to rob a small store, but he is not lawless enough to injure a 75 year old woman. So, she is alive and not in a body cast.
There are plenty of evil men out there who would have whacked her on the spot which is why we execute so many evil men.
So I do not recommend this without adult supervision.
I also think it was less courage than her cultural belief based on the era when she was raised that no man DARE hit a woman.
Society has changed, and she was basically stupid.
Amy, when it's your turn, consider wrapping cord around his neck. Of course, by then, it'll all be bluetooth.
There was a youtube of a 70+ year-old boxer WAILING on a convenience store thief a few years ago.... It's gone now. I thought it would be up forever. It was majestic. I love the United States of America.

First, you couldn't be more mistaken.
Secondly, when you're that old, what risky moment are you saving yourself for? Some especially challenging, multi-gas scuba dive? Some unbelievably audacious sexual encounter? No, fuckit: Take out one of the bad guys.

Love the way she gives him one more, on his way out.

Reminds me of my 70-year-old aunt, who chased down the guy who took her purse and got it back. She had the element of wtf? on her side.
