That woman needs some serious psychological help. And jail time for vandalism.
I'm not against someone using words. Trashing his house is not acceptable.

Ouch!
You're just having fun with this, aren't you. I have to admit I became pretty good at Spiderman at one point.

There are three parts to that video. I think by the time you get to This Is For BRAD Part 3 (link above), it's reasonably clear it's fake.
Pity. A good psycho story's always fun to run with.

Didn't look fake to me! Unfortunately, I know people like this. Makes me ill just to think about it!
Flynne at May 1, 2010 7:59 AM
Fake, I hope. Amy- have you kept all your correspondences over the years?

And no, I haven't kept much -- Gregg is getting me shelves this weekend so my house will look more like a house and less like a giant office/library. I had to clear a pile of books from my bed last night to make room for Gregg tonight.

Well I just got your book today. I wonder how long it will take to read?

A couple years ago, a woman ran over her cheating man with her car, several times, while his daughter begged her not to do it, then women's groups thought she should walk, why would not a woman shred her man's stuff with no second thought?
This is a society in which cheating women get kids; car(s); house; property settlement; alimony; and child support, and don't even have to let the wronged men see their kids. And, men who complain are called nasty names, even in comments on this blog. (Not by Amy, by commenters.)
If women cheating is not a serious issue, then in an equality based society, cheating by men is equally unimportant.

Not sure the answer to that, but per Elmore Leonard's advice (Elmore Leonard's 10 Rules of Writing), I did my very best to leave out the boring parts people skip when they read.

Meh, he's not missing much with starcraft2. SSDD for the most part. Its prettier at least.
Irlandes, you wouldn't be talked about Clara Harris of Texas would you? :) But she's a hero! A defender of marriage! So sayeth Joe Farah.
I'd also like to see a video (fake or not) of a guy shredding his ex girlfriend's sex in the city dvds.
Sio at May 1, 2010 12:34 PM
I actually like Joe Farah's commentary, when I saw him on FNC. I guess I'll have to rethink this.
As for women who've been cheated on, there is an obvious solution.
mpetrie98 at May 1, 2010 1:58 PM
Amy, do we need to sic Neicy Nash on you?
Cousin Dave at May 1, 2010 3:51 PM
If men knew in the early part of the 20th century what so many women would be calling acceptable responses to cheating and or hurt feelings, women's sufferage never would have gotten off the ground.
Not least because I suspect its chief advocates would have switched sides.
I shudder when I think of such women being single mothers, what kind of doormat sons will they be raising? What kind of "entitled" daughters?
Jobert at May 2, 2010 11:19 AM
I smell fake on this one, but who knows -- some people do some crazy shit when they break up.
If it's real, putting it on youtube was an incredibly stupid thing for her to do, for two reasons: (1) her boyfriend has video proof of her vandalism, and can press charges; (2) she'll never get another date.
Gail at May 2, 2010 6:34 PM
Sure she will Gail. Some men don't care if they're screwing a crazy chick, as long as they get laid.
Robert at May 2, 2010 8:16 PM
"Some men don't care if they're screwing a crazy chick, as long as they get laid."
You might be right. However, I'd have absolutely no sympathy for a man like that if she goes batshit on him. If you deliberately get involved with someone you know is unstable, you're begging for crazy shit to happen to you.
Gail at May 3, 2010 10:25 AM
Why is it ok to blame an abuse victim if he is male? but never if she is female?
lujlp at May 3, 2010 11:09 AM
You are making some big assumptions, lujlp. Why so defensive?
I blame ANYONE who deliberately gets involved with someone who they have good reason to know, ahead of time, is bad news. If you know he or she is nuts or violent or whatever, stay the fuck away.
I have sympathy for someone who gets involved with someone who doesn't initially appear to be bad news, but then turns out to be bad news after all. And I can understand how once you are involved, you might be afraid to break away. I still think you have to take some personal responsibility and should be making tracks to get away from the person (and if you have kids it is a downright imperative to get them out of the situation). However, I do understand that you might be afraid the crazy person will hurt you, and might be so cowed it's hard to get a reasonable perspective.
This applies to male and female victims. Admittedly, I do tend to have slightly more sympathy for the victim when the abuser is larger and stronger than the victim or if the abuser has shown a propensity to use weapons/physical objects. In that case, the victim has solid reason to fear physical harm if he or she defies the abuser.
