I just figured out what my next book will be (although I have to work on the title and sell it to my agent), and I'm guardedly optimistic about my ability to continue as a writer instead of as a table-waiter who writes. (A big thanks to all the newspaper execs who stood around with their thumbs up their asses while the Internet ate their lunch.)

D'oh! I just realized that when I bought your book a while back, I didn't remember to connect through your site to get it.

If I had, I'd have pointed out that you should change the text so it doesn't say it is on pre-order. :-)

Would it be cheating or against Amazon's TOS if we wrote you to list things we were planning on buying anyway, you list them, we buy them, and you delist them? Amazon and you get money and we get to help you out and get stuff?

Thanks so much, but you can just go to my Amy's Mall and click on the tiny Amazon logo and go to Amazon, and anything you buy there I'll get credit for. I spoke to Gregg today about building me a search window -- there was some complication about it before.
