It's my understanding that sex with insane women is often better than sex with sane women, too.

That came up, too, and the conclusion was that it depends on the insanity. Some types of insanity lead to hang-ups that make sex pretty unpleasant for everyone.

Men expect women to be insane because there are so many of them out there. When they meet one who is sane, they hardly know how to handle it.

Face it. Men endure almost anything to have sex with good-looking women (sanity is irrelevant). This lopsided arrangement is not the result of "intelligent design," unless God is a woman.

Well, what is "insane"?

A co-worker and friend, married for 50+ years to a journalism professor, said, "As long as you understand women are always under the influence of chemical imbalance, you'll be OK."

It's just a matter of finding a level of crazy that you can handle. Or at least a type of crazy that is compatible with your own.

What's hard in love and friendship is to find someone just crazy enough to be interesting, but not totally off the deep end.

I’ve always thought that insane was the only flavor provided. Have I been mistaken or is it me?

Hmm... I've always heard you should never sleep with anyone crazier than yourself. If true, what's that say about the guys with the crazy women?

Incidentally, my wife is totally crazy...

(Though, IIRC, he was actually referring to promiscuity. But maybe not. I think he was also referring to actual mental illness - not something like menopause.)
