Oh, Shut Up Already
It's become my recent life's goal to avoid news about Charlie Sheen, but a friend sent me this Charlie Sheen vs. Muammar Gaddafi: whose line is it anyway?" quiz by Richard Adams in the Guardian, and it's funny. (I got only two right!)
1. I have defeated this earthworm with my words - imagine what I would have done with my fire-breathing fistsSheen
Gaddafi
More silliness at the link -- and try your luck!

I got 6 correct, not much better than guessing blindly.

I got six, too.
El Arroyo, a mexican food place on 5th street in Austin, has a message board in front that they change regularly. Tuesday, it announced: "Gas prices are higher than Charlie Sheen."

I got 6 too.
But does it really matter who said it? They seem to be borrowing from eachother really. I think they share a brain.

I'm embarrassed to report that I scored 7 out of 10.
I'm more embarrassed to report that as a young teenager, my friends and I were determined to marry that boy. This was a la the "Young Guns" era.

I always thought Emilio was much better looking. Whatever happened to him?
ahw at March 3, 2011 11:47 AM
Below is Emilio Estevez' profile at IMDB. I thought the following excerpt was intereting:
"In 2006, Bobby (2006), a film about the assassination of Senator Robert F. Kennedy that Estevez wrote, directed, and acted in, premiered at the Venice Film Festival and received a seven-minute standing ovation".
I had no idea he was involved with that film; but then, I miss a lot of movies. : )

Cats quote Charlie Sheen. Nuff said.

I got 6 as well, but that's only because I actually heard Qadafi-duck compare himself to the Queen on TV the other night.
Still. I think Sheen needs an enema, a total detox, and a good long nap. He's gone beyond moron. It's not even fun to laugh at him anymore.
Flynne at March 3, 2011 6:30 PM
Damn. I spelled it with a 'Q', which I've seen before, but left out a 'd'. Maybe I'm the one who needs a good long nap! LOL!
Flynne at March 3, 2011 6:33 PM
Flynne is right Sheen isnt even funny anymore, its just getting sad
lujlp at March 3, 2011 7:16 PM
Really poor:
But I only barely touch pop culture and generally don't care to listen to any of the crap that any of the dictators spew.

So - have you taken the Unabomber vs. Al Gore quiz yet?
Not everything a nut says is wrong, and not everything the sane say is right.

No one here can decently answer this question. Perhaps the asking price of $92,000 already includes a price reduction for that needed work ? You need to ask your real estate agent to provide recent comparable sales evidencee for you, so that you can gauge the market properly. As well, do NOT expect that the price of this house will be reduced by the costs of the improvements that you desire. Why ? Because the house has functional bathrooms and a kitchen, even if you do not like the way they look.

I told someone else about this book, & Healthcare for Less& by Michelle Katz...it helped me ask the right questions in order to get some great health insurance. Some things you need to factor in is where you are located, if you have a great doctor (you might want to ask his/her opinion, are you interested in an HSA etc....all of these are explained in the book in an easy and simple way...there is even a chart you can xerox to help you make these decisions....go to BarnesandNoble and you will find the book or healthcareforless.us and there is a link to get the book from Amazon (be sure to read the reviews). I hope this helps.

You have a good range of grades, but medicine is very hard. You need B or above in maths and english. You could do bilology and chemistry A levels, and maths may also be required by uni.
