My dream house! My goal is too completely block the sun from my house. To that end, I have (between planting and ones already here) 13 trees on my little suburban lot.

We're working on making a little "secret garden" for Baby A in the back yard. She'd go nuts for something like this, but I'd be scared of spiders and scorpions and other creepycrawlies. Right now her favorite place in the back yard is a little "tunnel" that is formed where an out-of control Lady Banks rose meets up with a couple of ornamental trees.
Is the person who lives there a hermit?
