Illegal Immigrants And Your Tax Dollars
Michelle Hirsch writes for the Fiscal Times, "No Social Security number? No problem," referring to how the IRS last year paid out billions in refundable tax credits to illegal alien workers, according to a new Treasury audit:
Federal law bars illegal immigrants from collecting tax benefits, like the Earned Income Tax Credit, that can be claimed by residents with Social Security numbers. But the Treasury report found that the tax code's lack of clarity is allowing the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC), which reduces taxes owed by certain individuals with children, to be heavily claimed by undocumented workers;if their tax bills dip below zero, they can collect government checks.Even wages earned illegally in the U.S. are taxed. Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs) are available to people without Social Security numbers who cannot legally work in the U.S. so they can file tax returns. These ITINs have become increasingly linked to fraudulent tax claims, which helped inflate IRS payouts on the Additional Child Tax Credit from $924 million in 2005 to $4.2 billion, the report said.
"The payment of federal funds through this tax benefit appears to provide an additional incentive for aliens to enter, reside, and work in the United States without authorization, which contradicts federal law and policy to remove such incentives," the report said.
...In response to the report, IRS officials said they would follow one of its recommendations to meet with Treasury officials to determine whether people unauthorized to work in the U.S. can collect refundable tax credits. But the IRS rebuffed the audit's second recommendation that it collect additional documentation from people claiming the ACTC, arguing that the agency lacks the legal authority to challenge such tax returns.
"Any suggestion that the IRS shouldn't be paying out these credits under current law to ITIN holders is simply incorrect," IRS spokesperson Michelle Eldridge told The Fiscal Times in a statement. "The IRS administers the law impartially and applies it as written. If the law were changed, the IRS would change its programs accordingly."
The refund check should be accompanied by an ICE agent. You hand them the check, give them the chance to grab basic luggage and then send them home.

The law should be changed to make the Child Credit work the same as the EITC - not eligible if no Soc Sec #. The fault is with Congress, not the IRS - and not even with the claimant. Believe it or not, it's legal right now. So the "fraud" headline is not legally accurate.

Millions of Americans insist on a small federal government, a new tax code, and the return of agencies like the copious Dept of Education, The Environmental Protection Agency returned to state control. The Democrats, the main body of the Republicans and lesser political parties are using rhetoric and propaganda, to try and derail the most powerful deterrent since 1986, to eradicate the illegal immigrant occupation. This is not anti-Hispanic, Anti- European, Anti-African , Anti-Asian law, but is strictly Anti-illegal immigrant.

Only Democrats who expect to collect thousands of extra voters in 2012--illegal or legal--so there must be official oversight of the renamed ACORN groups, who used fraudulent registrations in the last midterm election. The GOP hierarchy sees only dollar figures for their business campaign contributors, with giant profits using discount labor and undermining the 24 million American workers, which remain jobless. Rick Perry, Mitt Romney has no sense of the future consequences of unfettered illegal incursions into this sovereign land. Perry has by far the worst immigration record of all, for a border Governor offering taxpayer tuition as a Texas dream Act. Perry sees no wrong with offering another population suffocating Amnesty. E-Verify has the capability to send the millions of illegal aliens packing--when unable to be hired. Huntsman has also bombed out on his seemingly approval of illegal alien growing problem.
Those Americans and residents that are flagged can resolve irregularities by going to a Social Security office, which the Liberal press keeps silent about. U.S. citizens, naturalized or permanent residents should not be deceived by ruling parties, open border entities or radical ethnic groups, as they see mandated E-Verify crushing their agenda’s. Don’t listen to the activist Liberal press, deceiving the population that the TEA PARTY is falling apart. Learn the facts of the revised E-Verify, that is propagating in status amongst honest business concerns.
You just have to look who is aligned with this massive 20 million plus illegal alien occupation? The Communist founded ACLU; Causa, (Oregon’s Immigrants Rights Coalition); The Southwest Farm press, these are mega-Agricultural Industry along with Farmers; (Farmers and these Multi-Nationals pay nothing towards the alien worker or his families Health treatments or the children’s kindergarten to K-12 education. The IRS pilfers your payroll check for this.

SO the IRS doesnt have the athority to ask for documentation that illegal immigrants arent lying on their taxes, but that have the athority to jail american citizens for following advice given by the IRS itself if the IRS gives out bad info?

And illegals pay taxes. Unfortunately, its the minimum amount and paid against the Social Security number the illegal stole.
A few years later, the legal owner of that SS# gets a bill for the tax differential. Then the legal person has to prove to the IRS that they didn't get the money and their identity was stolen.

I have not a shred of sympathy for this issue. If the Feds wanted to get tough on illegal immigration, they could do so in short order. All of the tools are available, what's missing is the will to use them.

These people need to go home and not come back. They cost us far too much money in fraud, healthcare, their babies that they birth on our soil, and also as prisoners due to the cries they commit when they get here. Fuck Amnesty.
