I already have guns. Plural. I'm not so much bothered by Religious Radicals as I am by gang-bangers. I don't normally carry, though, because I'd be too tempted to just shoot those idiots just on general principle.

I am so annoyed at a women that made a long post on the companies internal message board.
She declined the company offered insurance because she was on her husbands. Now she is pissed she doesn't get some of the benefits that it offers. Even going so far as having a lawyer talk to the company about letting her enroll now (not allowed - even if it was allowed, what she needs it for now is now an existing condition so couldn't be covered til after the point she needs it).
Then she was ranting the company should have warned you. It does (from memory) say something like "are you really sure?" I cannot see it going, "if per chance you were to develop this condition then this benefit would still not be available to you!"

People most in favor of gun control, in my personal (by indubitable!) experience, tend to be prissy white people who work with words and paper and live in a well-policed neighborhoods where crime gets instantaneous response.
But the rest of the country (MOST of it, that is) knows full well that when the shit hits the fan, the cops are going to be taking care of the white wordy people.

Most atheists are politically on the left, so I wondered how they felt about gun ownership.
