This guy has weird ideas about "a phrase that's easy to remember," and that defeats the advice.

I used to read postings from a computer programmer who said he'd named his dog k3G#ln0!tb22, so that...
Nevermind.

I named my dog Nature, because she abhorred a vacuum.

Password-cracking algorithms and software are almost at the point where it won't be possible to create a memorable password or phrase that a cracker program can't figure out. Pretty soon, computer systems are going to have to go to a smart-card setup, where you have to have a card or token, plus know a PIN number, to get access. The Army, to name one, has already done this -- you need a thing called a "CAC card" to access most Army computer systems.

My method was to sit at computer, look around room; pick random objects in the room - and generate from there. So... it would be something like RedZum3Lchare (derived from 1.Red wall, 2.Wife's Zumba dvd, 3. Three lights in dining room fixture, and 4. mis-spelled "chair".)
Granted, it's not really related to a specific website but has no relation to birthdays or other personal info.
