TSA: If You Really Want To Bypass "Security," You Can. With Ease.
All you need is an airport worker with a badge, bad character, and some debt, and be willing to pay that person a bribe -- which tells you how ridiculous we are to give up our Fourth Amendment rights for "security."
This doesn't just go on at DFW, where a local NBC station did an investigation of all the people taking people around security with their airport access badges. Even an FAA manager and a CEO at American Airlines' American Eagle did it -- as well as lower on the totem pole employees, including a TSA scumbag, uh, supervisor.
Story here from NBC and a piece by Lisa Simeone at TSA News Blog that led me to it. Lisa, sensibly notes (about the "security" puppet show):
Look, obviously I don't think most -- or any -- of these workers are Terrorists In Waiting, anymore than I think passengers are. But if we have to submit to "security," then why don't the people behind the scenes? Fair's fair.

And John Pistole will repeat we are more secure, ad nausea.

TSA is thinly-disguised welfare. It's giving unskilled losers government jobs with a decent pension.
It's not even work. It's sexual assault disguised as a job.

And if you're in line, you're vulnerable. See here.
Hey, Jeff, where's your "100% screening" now?

You can do it even more easily than that. I was once late for a flight, so I went to the airline counter to see about the next one. The agent said, "You can make it" and told me to go straight to the TSA guard and say I was on a flight that was leaving in 20 minutes or whatever it was. I did, the guard glanced at my ID, didn't even check my ticket, and then waved me past a line of about 85 people. At the time, I was mostly amazed that all 85 of them didn't start throwing things at me. Once I was on the plane, I thought, well, so much for security ...

I bet that if you were a determined terrorist group, you could find some delivery driver that pretty much has a carte blanche wave through at airport security and find some way to control him/her to carry them into the "sterile area".
The thing is that terrorists are now going to have to fight a plane load of people to take over a plane.
Oh, but they'll bomb planes is your reply. Then why have there been less 100 airline bombings in commercial flight history if it were effective?

I used to work for an airport. Security is a joke. I am not lawfully allowed to tell you how pathetic is is because then everybody would know how pathetic it is and abuse it. Apparently my first amendment rights can be squashed because disclosing their idiotic security practices presents a 'clear and present danger'.
It was such a painfully bad training video to watch.
