Well, there are some folks waiting for a new liver, new kidney, new lungs, etc.
Keep texting while driving the donorcycle buddy - folks are depending on you!

Another one of the "special" people that do not follow the rules required of those "others". Be curious if he loses his job over this.
Agree w/the comments at the posted site. I stopped riding after some surgery caused me to "lose" my mojo/sense of center. Could no longer sense the stupid people heading my way. (Once I pulled off the road once to avoid an elderly lady that froze and focused directly on me. Started to jump off the bike but she missed me.)

I've known too many cops who feel above the law. Not even sure if they are aware of the details of the constitution.

I'm kind of impressed. It can't be easy to ride in freeway traffic with no hands and text. Stupid, but not easy.

If he must take himself out, I would prefer that he not take anyone else with him.

Depends on the bike how stable it is. You'd be surprised at the individual differences.

And if he dies while texting on duty, who pays? Will he be considered a hero?

My best guy friend is dating a woman who was married to a cop, and her daughter is a cop. She loves telling stories about how the daughter and the ex are always doing things that would get the rest of us little people ticketed or booked. More than once I've made the comment that it's ok if her daughter and ex breaks the law, since the rules don't apply to LEOs. She's not the brightest bulb in the box and my sarcasm is always lost on her.
