An interesting experimental analogue hints at a possibly deterministic explanation for the results of the famous two-slit experiment that could challenge the standard (Copenhagen) interpretation of quantum mechanics (current Standard Model). (Though not strictly new, the Broglie-Bohm model has been around a while, but I think the oil droplet experiments are a great way to demonstrate what clearly seems to be some analogues between these macroscopic behaviors and quantum effects.)

Ever more patients, ever fewer medical professionals such as doctors. Bad as that is, are older people the first to be ousted from the doctor's kist?
