Watch the clock: 23:29 is one of my favorite bluesy licks in all of electric guitardom. I hadn't heard it for thirty+ years.
I'd never heard it before, but I think I'm with you on it.

No, really, this is a great rock record.
It has all the soul of a 2x4. Yetch.

Soul's a no-fun word, because it's so much like "class" in the Sinatra years... It means whatever the speaker wants it to mean, while conveying no information about the quality under discussion.
Clapton was a fabulous rock star, but never a notable, or melodic, or innovative player.
ok, I take it back... In eachfof four decades, I've been pulling into the parking lot at work, but White Room was on the radio, so I've had to drive around the block a couple times and be late, because White Room .

I wonder where Hollywood gets its ideas.
Ah. Here we go.

Four bellybuttons in one photo! That has to be some kind of indoor record. That newspaper's from my old stamping ground, by the way.

I tried listening this morning. A little too peepy-deepy for my tastes; YMMV. (Doesn't "YMMV" look a little like the tetragrammaton to you?)

Oh, from the same news site Gog linked to above:
Seriously, WTF?

'70s prog rock is all right, but the greatest American rock-n-roll music is straight outta Dayton, Ohio:

Sad news. Jack Bruce has died. He was 71.

But for the record: Clapton is the most overrated performer in the history of show business!
Grrr! Haha! Truth!

Also, his book was sometimes blunt but uninteresting.
Keef's was uninteresting but better.

Some music I feel. Some I don't. Each seems to have a soul, whether is connects with mine is the issue. Gimme Shelter = I feel it. Like a drug.
