Vegan Interrupts Lunch
How many diners do you think she persuaded to eat tofu the next time?
By the way, you can put out whatever form of protest you want in the public sphere, but it's theft to march into a business, step on your soapbox, and turn all the customers there into your captive audience.

Hey Lady, could you please shut the fuck up! I'm trying to eat my steak here, and your voice is annoying the crap out of me! Post it on YouTube and leave me alone!
Assholio at October 24, 2014 11:12 AM
Why can't this ever happen to me? I love destroying the asinine arguments of self-righteous vegan assholes.

Histrionic personality disorder?
Very attention seeking behavior.

Ok, I seriously want to punch her. Now, I think I'll have a cheeseburger topped with a fried egg for lunch.
sara at October 24, 2014 11:52 AM
Sara, that sounds great - I have to make that. Thanks for the reminder.

Veganism is not a diet, it is a religion. Or mental illness.
LauraGr at October 24, 2014 12:05 PM
Mental illness disguised as compassion. They grew up on Disney films where animals are anthropomorphized. Epitome of reality distortion.
Why don't they go to the Yosemite and protest the wolves eating the deer?

And no one stood up and said "If you didn't bring a brisket GTFO?".
Gog_Magog_Carpet_Reclaimers at October 24, 2014 12:12 PM
If I had time and no life, I would gather some people and go to vegan restaurants and vegan gatherings with a sign that said "Lying Vegan Murderers". Go on a rant how there vegans kill billions of mice and small animals to make their beans and salads.

I don't have a rooster in my small flock so I think I am ok with her. My ladies give me unfertilized eggs to eat.
I wonder if she lets her little chicken eat horse poop. My chickens can flatten a fresh pile in a matter of minutes.
Dave B at October 24, 2014 12:20 PM
I think those ... "guys" ... she has in tow are exactly what the campus PC police want to turn American men into. *shudder*

That reminds me, I need to get some grass fed beef on my way home tonight. I'll cook it to rare perfection and raise a glass of dry red to the memory of Snow.
Steve Daniels at October 24, 2014 12:45 PM
Hmmm...that reminds me...the "Whatafarm". There's a small window during breakfast hours at Whataburger were you can get bacon, cheese, fried egg, burger, and chicken patty stacked. I think I'd top that with their white sausage gravy for good measure, hold the bun.
Great, now I'm hungry. I think I'll go have piece of beef jerky. I'll name it "Snow".

Fuck all of you murderous meat eaters and fuck all the kill the native fauna with their food farms vegans/vegetarians.
I get all my energy from the Sun. Yes I'm dying but I didn't compromise my morals by consuming any living thing for food. That's not the purpose of food--to be eaten.
Ppen at October 24, 2014 1:51 PM
I expect you know the 'Light Eaters' movement exists Ppen.

Let's take this self-centered woman, and along with the self-centered woman defacing our national parks, and stick them on a deserted island and see how long before they kill each other.
Charles at October 24, 2014 2:18 PM
Meh. I posted a comment earlier today but now suspect there might be more to this video than I had first thought.
The more I think about this video, the more it fails my smell test.
How was this woman able to publicly rant for so long without being interrupted by or physically removed from the premises by at least one restaurant employee? I know of no restaurant in the San Francisco bay area that would allow someone to disturb other patrons for so long.
Secondly, the woman in question seems to be (in many ways that I will not get into here) off-putting. A jury would probably find her to be equally off-putting. So, how is she able to corral so many supporters? This video, and ones similar to it, probably do more harm to its apparent cause than they do good - which may be why it was released. Moreover, the woman's emotions are overwrought; is she for real?
The woman and her apparent supporters could - and perhaps should - have been arrested for causing this public disturbance. Call me paranoid, but could this woman, and perhaps some or all of her supporters, be part of a law enforcement effort to entrap idealistic young people? The prison industry and corporations prefer - surprise! - nonviolent offenders to violent offenders. Most inmates in the U.S. work and nonviolent offenders are better workers than violent ones.
Or, perhaps this woman and her supporters are exactly who they appear to be.

I get all my energy from the Sun.
You greedy, selfish bitch. Those photons spent millennium escaping the crushing grip of the suns fusion, traveled more than 93 million miles to reach this planet, and you steal it less than six feet away from the plants it was about to nourish?
What kind of monster does that?

Well in the panning shot there are only about 4 customers in the place and about that many workers. She had more than that behind her, with cameras out filming.
It did look very planned, as in maybe her friend works there so no one would do anything real. With them not brave enough to do it when the place wasn't deserted.
Joe j at October 24, 2014 4:36 PM
I would have gone and stood right in front of her to eat my steak, smacking my lips and saying "nom nom nom" the whole time. Idiot.
Daghain at October 24, 2014 5:06 PM
I don't know why, but that just made me hungry for a steak. Off we go.
Ken R at October 24, 2014 6:19 PM
God bless her. She knows a lot about how chickens think. Not saying she's a bird brain or anything. Just that panicky, sky-is-falling hysteria comes so naturally to her. I wouldn't sit next to her at the dinner table. She might peck your eyes out.
Canvasback at October 24, 2014 7:48 PM
My question is, is it better to live and be eaten or to never have lived at all? The vast majority of "food" animals would not even be alive were it not for the fact they are going to be eaten. So millions of cows, chickens and pigs live and die to be eaten, or a few thousand in zoos and as pets?
Matt at October 24, 2014 8:51 PM
There was one time I was at Outback and ordered a steak, when I looked out the front window and witnessed some vegan protesters shouting and provoking people, yelling "make a change!"
Well, it inspired me to make a change all right. It provoked me right into cancelling my original order and ordering an even bigger steak.
;-)

I have a sudden craving for a chicken omelet. Anyone have a good recipe for one?
Mike at October 25, 2014 5:18 AM
I must say, she didn't look very appetizing.
JD at October 25, 2014 12:35 PM
I just came back from the bathroom. Looked in the mirror, and noted that I have incisors and canine teeth evolved to rip and tear meat, ( in addition to veggie mashing molars) and a short gut, no rumen , that produces all sorts of protease enzymes, the endurance and menta skills needed to run down and corner prey, and hands to hold the weapons needed to stab and beat nutritious critters to death.
Something tells me evolution designed me to have some tasty red meat on top of my veggies.

I couldn't watch more than a few words. Always sad to witness someone making a fool of herself.
Lizzie at October 26, 2014 5:31 AM
I wonder how many millions of insects were murdered to grow the cotton child slaves turned into her clothing?
lujlp at October 26, 2014 12:26 PM
If only we could turn all this energy from these young protesters into some genuinely worthwhile cause.
