Lujlp: It may or may not be a logical flaw, but it doesn't keep it from being true. It's one thing to say, "I wish to die. Will someone help me?" It should be quite another thing to say, "You should wish to die, if you were able to wish for anything," but that border is kind of vague, and as always, there will be long lines of people volunteering to make those kinds of decisions for others.

If someone is making it one another's behalf without a written notarized letter stating such a wish it isnt suicide assisted or no.
I've had an advance directive detailing what circumstance I want to be left to die in and the disposition of my remains and possessions since I was 18.
The problem with the guy writing crids article is he makes no distinction between
A) someone to physically weak to pull a trigger, or someone who's brain has dissolved to swiss cheese how planned to never live like that ASKING for help in doing what they can no longer do for themselves,
B) unwilling health care workers being FORCED to kill another, &
C) murder
Its not different than feminists who claim all sex is rape no matter what
Assisted suicide.

Horrible logical flaw their crid, having the right to help in killing ones self is not the same as FORCING others to kill you against their will.
Its as different as having someone voluntarily fuck you and rape

That's precisely what it means: Your confusion in exemplary.
