Charles, does white trash cooking use a propane torch? Around here someone tried burning the fur off a squirrel with one, and burned down an apartment building. Twenty nine families lost their homes, and his girlfriend, who leased the apartment, is being sued for $2 million.
I doubt that traditional Laotian (or whatever Chanthalavong's origins are) cooking involved propane at all, so this is a case of creativity gone terribly wrong.
