Geller-wannabe Jon Ritzheimer, who organized a Draw The Prophet Contest and sold "Fuck Islam" t-shirts outside of a Phoenix, AZ mosque during their prayer meeting, now feels his life is in danger (never mind that no one has actually threatened him) and therefore wants us to pay him 10 million dollars to fortify (as in, turn into a fort) his house. While he admits 10 million is an outrageous amount for his purposes, he does have noble purposes for the rest.
I have an idea for him if he needs money. He could sell "Fuck Jon Ritzheimer" t-shirts. (Hey, I'd buy one.)

(Breakfast, coffee, and a little stretching makes me agreeable) I'm w/Patrick on this one.
Idiot should have thought this through 'cause ain't no one can protect his back and no 'fort' can either.
Between the early to mid-20's males that are screwed up/hyped up and the 'closet' radicals he is fresh meat (as in farm to table).
There's a reason people in crime-ridden areas ignore weapon-restricting laws and he has just realized he created his own special zone.
OOPS!

Obama's not happy about how (FNC) news is reported as per his quote "... we’re going to have to change how our body politic thinks, which means we’re going to have to change how the media reports on these issues,...".
China seems to be able to do that by controlling the media and da 'net so maybe Obama has been paying attention to international politics.
from a WSJ article:
"The fate of hundreds of people aboard a stricken Chinese tour ship remained uncertain nearly a day after it capsized, as the government put a stranglehold on information and angry relatives demanded answers."

Bob, I don't see why Obama should be upset with Fox News. There is absolutely no way to spin that statement in a favorable light. We need to change how the media reports things? That he even thinks along those lines, much less states it publicly is scary.

It goes hand-in-hand with his earlier assertion that the reason ObamaCare is not popular is because Dems are not getting their narrative out there due to right-wing opponents making too much noise.
Lefties love the narrative and controlling how it is presented is key to them. It's not that their policy failed, it's that their opponents won the narrative.

I know I'm OLD but seriously! Middle schools have a Sex Education class w/its own special teacher? Man! How much co-ed homework do they do? (field trips are in the picture)
I watched a video with Jon Ritzheimer being interviewed by Anderson Cooper. I'll agree with Ritzheimer on one thing: Anderson Cooper is a terrible interviewer. I mean talk about loaded questions!
One such memorable moment occurred at around 3:35. When commenting about those who considered his protest a bad idea, he said that some might say the signers of the Declaration of Independence had a bad idea.
"So you're comparing yourself to the signers of the Declaration of Independence?" asked Cooper.
An obvious trap, but Ritzheimer walked right into it.
"Uh, yeah," he said.
So regarding Ritzheimer, either he's a moron or he's so full of himself that he really does think of himself on a par with the signers of the Declaration of Independence.
Conan, I think Obama might have had a point about the narrative. Republicans injected some pretty poisonous accusations
Who can forget Sarah Palin, defiantly stating that she would not stand before one of Obama's death panels, arguing for her son Trig's right to life. Liberals, of course had their own brand of bullshit, of course. "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor..."
But the whole death panel discussion had me perplexed. It was depressing enough that it was invented. Even more depressing that it was successful.
There are some serious idiots in this country!

Patrick, the term "death panel" was bit hyperbolic, but what Palin was warning against was real. Committees that decide which treatments will be funded and at what point one becomes ineligible for said treatment are real.
That's part of medical malpractice suits today. "Standard treatment" is based on what other doctors in the area are doing and how they're treating a particular affliction. Doctors are afraid to try a non-standard procedure, no matter how warranted in a particular case, lest it go wrong and its non-standardness be used to accuse the doctor of malpractice.
Palin's death panels served as a warning that, at some point, bureaucrats will decide which treatments are acceptable and which ones won't be funded for a specific affliction. That at a certain point, a patient will be deemed ineligible for a procedure (due to age, advanced state of illness, etc.) because the cost is too high.
My fear is that she wasn't wrong.

I think Obama might have had a point about the narrative.
My problem with "winning the narrative" is that Democrats are using it to obscure the failure of bad policy. Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes truth.
Repeat ad nauseam (without any supporting arguments) until your opponents get tired of arguing with you: Republicans are evil. Ronald Reagan was doddering old man. George W. Bush was a drooling idiot. Bill Clinton was a champion of women. Hillary is a strong and accomplished woman. Barrack "57 States" Obama is a genius. ObamaCare is a beneficial reform to the American healthcare system. The TSA is an effective security measure. The PATRIOT Act is keeping us safe from terrorists (Okay, that one may be true, but it's not going to keep us safe from our own government).
ObamaCare did not become unpopular because Sarah Palin coined the "poisonous" term "death panels." It was already unpopular because the fear of a government bureaucracy deciding one's fate that Palin encapsulated in the term was real.
It wasn't the narrative that killed ObamaCare's popularity, it was the government overreach - and the incompetence thus far displayed in its execution.
