"Moreover, last week the State Department put forth a proposal “clarifying” how to handle releases containing “technical data” which are posted online or otherwise distributed into the “public domain.”
Ultimately, the proposal would require those releasing “technical data” on ammunition or firearms to first seek government approval."
What could go wrong w/requiring gov't approval prior to anything? After all, they are here to help.
Bob, they tried that about 20+ years ago by attempting to ban the export of strong encryption code to foreign countries by classifiying such encryption as a munition. Ask the Powers that Be how that worked out.

Darth, I think that's still in effect. It nearly killed encryption research in the U.S. Most of the best work in the field is being done offshore now. Last time I looked into buying an encryption package, the vendor was in Ireland.
Useless regulations are useless. It's like the NSA continuing to insist that the material that Snowden disclosed, and has been seen by tens of millions (at least), is still classified.

Wonderful.
I bought Aiofe's record "Fossils" a couple moons ago and it's pretty good.
she is no longer able to record. In a recent press release for Real World she stated that "Singing is out of the question".In 2010 Sheila Chandra developed "Burnt Mouth Syndrome" (for which there is no known cause or cure) and now experiences long-lasting neurological pain triggered by speaking and singing. She is effectively mute, and communicates in person largely through handwritten notes and very basic sign language.
Even though I've owned this record for over 25 years, I don't know much about this record from Mick Fleetwood, titled "The Visitor", other than it was recorded in Ghana.
The people in the pictures on the album look happy.

I meant *Aoife* . I misspelled her name.
She has a mellifluous, syrupy voice. You bet.
