Feminist theory and how it colors their perception of the world:
What Filipovic describes as feminist “disenchantment with the ‘No means no’ framework” amounts to an admission that the recent rhetorical fury about “rape culture” is actually an attempt to move the goalposts, in such a way as to criminalize normal male sexual behavior. The confusion created by so-called “affirmative consent” policies (also known as “yes means yes”) is understandable because most people would be shocked senseless if they stopped to consider what it actually means. Under the rules of “affirmative consent,” any attempt by a male to initiate sexual activity with a female, under any circumstances, is presumed to be sexual assault if she says it was. If a man and a woman have any sexual contact whatsoever — a kiss, a hug, anything — and she subsequently claims this contact was “unwanted,” “unwelcome” or “coerced,” then he is presumed guilty of sexual assault.
And remember: they want to move this off campuses and into the criminal code.
Ridiculous. What I want, when a psycho starts shooting, is a brave gun-carrying alpha male next to me (not that I can't take of it if I have to, I'd just prefer not to have to.)
Not to mention, someone needs to inform this student organizer that plenty of students at UT and elsewhere would rather beg forgiveness afterward, than go on campus unarmed. It's called concealed for a reason, dumbass. They're already there.

Some idiotic UT student is planning a "dildo rebellion" next fall, when Texans gain the right to conceal carry on campus if licensed to carry.

"All-ages helmet laws might actually make cycling more dangerous, some cyclists say, by decreasing ridership. Research shows that the more cyclists there are on the road, the fewer crashes there are. Academics theorize that as drivers become used to seeing bikes on a street, they watch more closely for them."
Let me see if I get this.
Yes a few dozen or so will DIE because they are not wearing helmets.
BUT
Because it's cooler looking to not have a helmet on more people will bike if we don't require them. So overall let's not require them.

Two Point Five Billion Dollars.
Question:
How much money and property have the police stolen with warrantless traffic stops since 9/11?
And those are only the thefts they report...
