Yesterday, I said Sweden was also having issues with certain immigrants and their culture of rape. It was worse than I thought:
The organizers of the festival tell DN (ed note: Dagens Nyheter) that there are cases of sexual harassment at every festival, but that, beginning in 2014, groups of boys and young men work the crowds together.
"These cases are very particular. There are groups of guys who are deliberately focusing on surrounding and molesting girls. At first we were completely shocked by their actions," said Roger Ticoalu, head of events at Stockholm City council.

Some yokel wants to force a business to do what they, the yokel, would do; not what is in the best interest of the restaurant or other customers:
A drunk homeless guy is bothering other customers; but, one customer wants to invite him to sit and eat with her. The restaurant wants him to leave, not because he is homeless, rather, because he is bothering other customers.
Do-gooder yokel goes to Facebook to blast restaurant for treating homeless guy like "garbage," also claiming that the restaurant owners need to learn that "actions have consequences!"
I'm all for free speech; but, as Amy says, the cure for stupid speech is more speech; so, here's my two-cents worth:
This little do-gooder is an yokel for demanding that this restaurant feed the homeless, even if it is on her dime.
First, the restaurant has video showing him bothering other customers - perfectly okay, in my book, to then ask that someone to leave and not come back.
Second, so what if he is homeless or not? No one in the article claims so; but, far too often the homeless do have hygiene issues and I, for one, do not feel like trying to eat my lunch or dinner while being grossed out over someone's really bad body odor. Heck I often cannot stand it when some women in public have clearly bathed in perfume - that's affects my breathing too. Haven't-bathed-in-months body odor is far worse.
Third, Yea, okay, this do-gooder wants to pay for his food. But, what missy "I'm better than you" yokel doesn't realize is that if word gets around to the homeless that customers will buy you a meal at this establishment they will flock there in greater number than just this one guy. Missy do-gooder will no longer be there and the restaurant's business will be impacted by customers staying away due to too many homeless hanging around/bothering customers while waiting for a free meal.
In short, if missy do-gooder yokel wants to feed the homeless she should do so where it does not impact someone else's livelihood.
If she wants a restaurant to run a business model whereby customers can buy "free" meals for the homeless there is nothing to stop her from doing so; but, do NOT demand that someone else do it.
This is one reason why I cannot stand so many do-gooder yokels, like this Vanessa Varona, is that they want to do good with your resources. And, they don't even realize/care that they are using your resources.

I'm sorry I chuckled at this guy being so clueless and I'm glad they were just beat up and not really hurt bad (other than mentally which is awful).
“They came up – I noticed they had scarves over their face – they said a few words about my shoes, about getting up, if I wanted to give them my seat, and then before I had a chance to respond, that is when they just started attacking.”
"Unfortunately, the picture painted by the early Muslim historians is in stark contrast to what today's Muslims desperately want to believe. The truth is that Islam transformed a highly tolerant and religiously pluralistic Mecca into one of only two cities in the entire world where one is not allowed to set foot if they do not profess the predominant religion. (Not surprisingly, Medina is the other)."

There's a relevant Richard Feynman quotes about big numbers. "There are 1011 stars in the galaxy," Feynman once said. "That used to be a huge number. But it's only a hundred billion. It's less than the national deficit! We used to call them astronomical numbers. Now we should call them economical numbers." That was at least three decades ago—the annual deficit is at about a trillion now.
I miss Feynman. And we're so screwed as a nation.

Conan; that is absolutely true; non-Muslims are NOT allowed in Mecca or Medina. That is one reason why the Saudi capital is in neither, instead the Saudi capital is Riyadh.
A group of Islamic fanantics (terrorists or ashholes, which ever term you want to use, I don't care) took over the grand Mosque in Mecca.
Saudi Troops couldn't get them out. But the French did; but, only French troops were allowed in if they converted first:
"A team of three French commandos from the Groupe d’Intervention de la Gendarmerie Nationale (GIGN) arrived in Mecca. Because of the prohibition against non-Muslims entering the holy city, they converted to Islam in a brief, formal ceremony."
Yep, that's right, the French helped the Saudi's with their terrorist problem; but, they had to convert to Islam first.
The U.S., at that time, was either not willing to convert their troops; or more likely were too busy with the Iranians taking hostage the US embassy in Tehran at the same time.
