Patrick,
Sooner or later people will realize the terrorism is really war but I thought the tweets were condescending but typical. ("We will prevail!")
Perhaps the difference in thought process is that America is young enough that those in the flyover country know that not long ago our lifestyle included "war" w/Indians, bandits, predators, and down-right "bad guys".
Except for the big cities on the coasts, life was an isolated farm located along waterways/trails and outside a city. Isolation meant exposure to "war" tactics of killing by whatever means were at hand (hand weapons, guns, etc.) either for the fun of it or simply as means of life.
It was not unusual to find an abandoned farm/ranch that was abandoned due to the killings. Someone else moved in and took a whack at surviving.
Those that survived had to still keep on keeping on. Livestock had to be fed, crops managed, and so on because not to do so meant death by starvation.
Tweeting about continuing to "run" or "bike" seem rather infantile. They still don't get it because they are happy they can still get up and run w/the sun.
(Maybe I need more coffee this morning.)

Too much?
Bob, there's no such thing as too much coffee. There's only "drink up" and "I need a refill".

That was one of my concerns with how the gays have pushed their agenda. It is too dependent on minority support. What is granted by one can be taken away by another one.
The worst thing about terrorism? It works.
