I give it to Julia Child. I liked her, whereas if I had Gordon Ramsay in my kitchen, I would be doing all I could to keep myself from cutting him into a half-inch pieces and stir-frying him with peppers, onions and water chestnuts with soy sauce.

No link yet, but the officer in the Freddie Gray trial in Baltimore has just been found not guilty on all charges. Baltimore's gonna burn.

This is what happens when the prosecution goes off half-cocked and cooks up novel legal theories to go to trial with.
There's a reason why the defense asked for a bench trial: the only controversy left was an interpretation of the law. The facts were known and generally agreed upon.

An old joke in aviation, going back to the 1930s as reported by Earnest Gann, is that "IFR" meant "I Follow Railroads". I can point to a number of examples of airliner crews landing at the wrong airport, or mistaking an adjacent taxiway for the runway. It usually happens at runways that have screwy approach procedures.

The difference is, people actually WANT to go to Disneyland, Gog, and it doesn't take 71 days to finally get on the desired ride.

Holy mother of god I just saw the worst movie created from the worst book by the worst author since James Frey (he, too, was embraced by Oprah, before she realized she'd been flimflammed).

Sixclaws - lol - I was hoping for a 'Ghostbusters 3' with a new crew, not a re-do of the original.
So no, I won't be seeing it. Then again, I didn't watch 'Titanic', since I knew how it was going to end.
