Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills are fixers who steered people to donate to the Clinton Foundation before Secretary of State Hillary would meet with a visitor. Both are thought to be under investigation by the FBI.
Abedin and Mills disappeared off the face of the earth about a month ago. Now comes the first obvious attempt to throw Abedin under the bus:
It's worth noting that Vanity Fair was the vehicle the Democrats used to reward Megyn Kelly for her attempt to wreck Donald Trump's primary campaign... just in time for her contract negotiations.
In Clintonworld, there are no accidents, no coincidences.

Dude, put down the bong and step away from the Doritos. Or he's the Pointy Haired Boss from Dilbert: anything I don't understand can be accomplished in a short period of time. He has no concept of just how difficult urban warfare is.
I’d assemble armed resistance brigades in and around states that voted for Trump. I’d make sure the participants are well-trained in urban combat. I’d do drills. I’d ensure that secure communications have been established to enable inter-state coordination. I’d impart to participants that they should be prepared to face severe state punishment for their rebellious acts— perhaps even death.
Every time Trump does something reasonable – and he is doing a lot of that now – the hallucination of living in 1930s Germany weakens. I’d say it’s about half gone already.
I'm old enough to remember when interfering in elections was cool.
The Senate subcommittee on investigations published a report on Tuesday finding that OneVoice, an international non-profit organization once funded by the State Department, actively campaigned against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during Israel’s 2015 parliamentary elections.
Their campaign was funded in part by their State Department grant, the report found.
IRA-DA, For compact yet powerful ignorance that paragraph is a blue ribbon winner.
As if snowflake Democrats could be organized; especially when they might get hurt. A high probability. Plus just a quick scan of flyover country would reveal that urban warfare is not going to be a frontline tactic.
And lefties aren't renowned for their secure communications. See, he's already published his battle plans.

Hmmm...your house is in foreclosure and you're a semi-closeted Trump supporter and your house gets torched? It's rather convenient you weren't home at the time.
Most of the people who'd sign on to such an enterprise would most likely wet themselves if they were told they'd need to learn the use of firearms.
Rebellions occur when the intolerable happens. Other than a lost election, what intolerable thing has Trump done?

ESR has words of advice for the Democrats. Will they heed them? I'm thinking "no" but I could be surprised.
Donald Trump’s victory reads to me like a realignment election, a historic break with the way interest and demographic groups have behaved in the U.S. in my lifetime. Yet, Democrats, you so far seem to have learned nothing and forgotten nothing. Indeed, if I were Donald Trump I would be cackling with glee at your post-election behavior, which seems ideally calculated to lock Trump in for a second term before he has been sworn in for the first.
Stop this. Your country needs you. I’m not joking and I’m not concern-trolling. The wailing and the gnashing of teeth and the denial of reality have to end. In the rest of this essay I’m not going to talk about right and wrong and ideology, I’m going to talk about the brutal practical politics of what you have to do to climb out of the hole you are in.
We need to start with an unsparing assessment of that hole.
The Dems in the Senate face a challenge, and I'm sure they're up to it!
A growing number of key Democrats raising questions about Attorney General-nominee Sen. Jeff Sessions have spent 20 years praising his character and bipartisanship, leading to a potentially awkward and hypocritical challenge at his upcoming Senate confirmation hearing.
Totally stealing the "can't find a coconut in Coconut Island" line...
What we have been seeing worldwide, from India to the UK to the US, is the rebellion against the inner circle of no-skin-in-the-game policymaking “clerks” and journalists-insiders, that class of paternalistic semi-intellectual experts with some Ivy league, Oxford-Cambridge, or similar label-driven education who are telling the rest of us 1) what to do, 2) what to eat, 3) how to speak, 4) how to think… and 5) who to vote for.
But the problem is the one-eyed following the blind: these self-described members of the “intelligentsia” can’t find a coconut in Coconut Island, meaning they aren’t intelligent enough to define intelligence hence fall into circularities — but their main skill is capacity to pass exams written by people like them.
"But you’re scared right now! Well, that’s too bad. Because for the most part Democrats have tried to make it so that citizens have to abdicate their responsibilities and instead entrust that only (the) state can defend everyone… That doesn’t seem like such a bright idea now that you don’t trust who is running the state, huh?"

And, of course, they certainly had no problem voting for Hillary. Admittedly, she knows more about the workings of government than Trump, but she eminently disqualified herself with her unsecured server, Clinton foundation corruption, foul temper and so on. So these people are hypocrites.
