"The government has double standards about freedom of speech": The gorilla thing is ugly and awful (because it's a traditionally racist way to talk about blacks), but it's protected speech.
We have a First Amendment for the assholes of the world to speak their piece. If you're just saying "have a nice day," there's no need.
That double standard is the loss of civility or formal politeness and courtesy in behavior or speech and it has the de facto support of the current Federal government and the DNC.
"We" can ambush the other party's supporters outside their political rallies w/no fear of arrest.
"We" can pay for people to go to the other party's political rallies and be disruptive and incite loss of temper for the MSM to broadcast w/o fear of investigation by the MSM or of arrest.
"We" can "rob" a white male student of his college degree based on an unproven event that supposedly occurred a year or more. The participants in that event do not have to be the one making the complaint, any evidence provided by those participants does not have to be considered, and the accused white male has no recourse whatsoever. This can be done w/no fear of the Federal government or the courts.
"We" can use any reason we can think of to harass white students, especially males, by blocking access to school events, classes, or common areas with the de facto approval of that college administration reacting in any manner to stop us.
There is a very thin line between what is happening now and what happened in France during the German occupation.
"Rules" did not prevent actual crimes, big and small, by German sympathizers. (Of course German occupiers did as they wanted w/o fear of arrest. Sound familiar Billiary fans?)
What has been forgotten is that there is a very slim line between pettiness and savagery. Americans are those people that a few generations ago came into a land where nothing exited besides force to stop pettiness to turning into savagery.
It's in our DNA and our "recent" history.
The "cupcakes" being used will be surprised and the "organizers" will not.

Isnt it great when progressives tell a 9 year old autistic boy to fuck off in the name of "fairness"
"You opposed Donald Trump, so why aren't you freaking out?"
Well, for starters, allowing liberals to determine my level of anxiety—which would be full-blown, round-the-clock histrionics—over what's nothing more than another election would be foolish. Until it's not. The era of Trump hasn't even started yet, and the entire establishment keeps using the term "era of Trump" as if things have actually changed.
...
Not to mention, the left has been such an astonishing hypocrite on so many issues related to Trump that it's a bit difficult to move forward without pointing it out. Joining activists who've spent years attacking the First, Second, Fourth, Fifth and Tenth Amendments—and now the Electoral College—in a newfound veneration of the Emoluments Clause is a bit much.
...
Who can take journalists seriously—who've never once uttered a word of concern over the Democratic Party's crusade to empower government to ban political speech by overturning Citizens United—when they lose it over a tweet about flag-burning? If it were up to them over the past eight years, Trump would now be imbued with far more power to achieve the things they fear—unilaterally.
...
Those who kept telling us that Hillary Clinton's corrupt foundation and blatant favor-trading with the world's most illiberal regimes were merely a conspiracy theory now act as if the republic will crumble if Trump's hotel hosts the same Bahraini princes that were buying access in the Obama administration.
This can be done w/no fear of the Federal government or the courts.
This is done at the behest of the federal government via the Dear Colleague letter. The courts, when they've gotten involved, have been...more of a scourge for colleges and universities. They tend to care about due process, and discovery rights.
In many cases, the legal reps for colleges and universities have been placed in the position of having to pound on the table in court.

Well, yes. Yes, I do want militarized masculinity, and a masculine military. And as for Mattis being ‘outdated’ and ‘out of touch’, yes, please. Other fauxminist chiding included “It says feminist in your bio“, “God, Louise, you must truly hate yourself, you love being demeaned by men? the GOP loves you for propping them up,” “lusting after the wrong bigot,” “a gross, weird thing to find attractive, brawny” and “is this sarcasm“.
Interestingly though, beta males were a lot angrier even than fauxminists. Mattis and alphas like him threaten them tremendously:
Amazon is trying out a fully automated shopping experience. The question going forward: how will the local grocery compete against delivery services (such as Amazon Pantry) once they get scaled up, and deliveries happen quickly?
"Amazon is trying out a fully automated shopping experience."
Gee.
The whole "$15/hour should be the minimum wage, because I can't earn a living wage at less" just got served.
There has to be a monetary adjustment somehow. When automation replaces workers, the idled hands still need something to do and the means to get there.

"You opposed Donald Trump, so why aren't you freaking out?"
"But you’re scared right now! Well, that’s too bad. Because for the most part Democrats have tried to make it so that citizens have to abdicate their responsibilities and instead entrust that only the state can defend everyone… That doesn’t seem like such a bright idea now that you don’t trust who is running the state, huh?"
So one reason I was OK with a Trump presidency was that I assumed that the media would hold a President Trump to account. I may have been wrong about that...
What I didn't figure on: That the media would, in the aftermath of the election, so thoroughly destroy its credibility that, if they now uncover and report on corruption in the Trump Administration, their reports will be easily dismissed by Trump as just more partisan hackery. This does not strike me as a good thing, but there is nothing that can be done about it at this point -- the ship has sailed.
