I have never liked LL Bean. For some reason, every product I've ever gotten from them has proven to be inferior. My mother once gave me a raincoat from them which left me soaked to the skin. I once got a pair of winter boots from them, but they left my feet wet. I found a pair of similar boots from Fayva which did a much better job at keeping my feet dry for 1/3 the price.
Nice full-length denim jacket with a detachable wool lining, but the jacket kept rolling up in the back.
I've never gotten anything from LL Bean which didn't leave me unsatisfied. I stopped shopping there over two decades ago.
According to Sleep Cupid survey that included 3,000 women, the place that appears to be the most appealing to women to have sex is on a flight of stairs. Who would have thought?!
I've seen women with badonk-a-donks that would make it hard for me to follow them up the stairs without trying to molest them. Especially if they were leading me up stairs to their bedroom.
But from Stinky's linky, an amusing slide:
What stops you following thru on your fantasies?
20.3% law enforcement
24.9% legal consequence
32.8% public shaming
38.1% HR department
39.8% in relationship
HR - killing the mood since 1992

Resnikoff said his fear was rooted in the chance that the plumber knew he was Jewish.
“While I had him in the apartment, I couldn’t stop thinking about whether he had voted for Trump, whether he knew my last name is Jewish, and how that knowledge might change the interaction we were having inside my own home,” he said.
The “uncertainty” of the situation left Resnikoff “rattled for some time.”
Second:
This reminds me of law professor Wendy Brown’s backwoods encounter with a man in an NRA hat who helpfully fixed her car, only to be the star of a Yale Law Journal article in which she speculated that he might have been a rapist.

from Patrick's post:
"Ms. Rose said in an interview that the intention of the post was not to weed people out but rather to make them understand that they had a lot of learning to do.
“I needed them to understand that they don’t just get to join the march and not check their privilege constantly,” she said."
This is such a funny concept and so foreign to LIFE that it's LOL, slap your knee, clutch your sides funny. I mean ALL SOCIETIES have "privilege", upper class, "old" money, "they" don't belong, and so on. (I bet even Monks have personal politics going on.)
Look at politics (did Pelosi step aside saying "new" blood was needed?). The British shows about upstairs/downstairs life is not about ancient history. The clannish behavior all political machines have (see ME, Clinton Foundation, DNC, Repubs, Catholic Church).
"You are not "black" enough attitude alone belies the notion that "privilege" is only bestowed on or by "white people".
LOL!
Personally I don't expect worship but please tell me how today's "freedoms" did NOT come from WHITE blood and effort to make things "right".
From not recognizing that women and Negroes actually were "real" people with the right to have the same "rights" as white men.
Ignoring our Grandparents/Parents behavior towards others. Teaching our kids the "Golden Rule" applies to all. Learning to become "color blind".
Check my privilege my ass. The baton has been passed to you young people and this is the best you've got?
You're on your own and I bet that knife in your back did not come from a "white" hand and that that monkey on your back is due to a personal weakness/hatred rather than abuse of "white privilege". (You don't make much forward progress looking back.)
"I've never gotten anything from LL Bean which didn't leave me unsatisfied. I stopped shopping there over two decades ago."
I was surprised in the store to see that firearms manufacturers apparently placed their best stock in LL Bean's Freeport, ME home location. Fit, finish, wood all seemed to be a cut above the usual retailer's offerings. The counter guy agreed with the idea that this is because they get international trade.
There's a lot of very nice stuff at L.L. Bean, and now would be a good time to order something:

Bob in Texas; do you remember the "rubber bullets" fake news that was reported by the Huffington post?
It turns out they had snapped a picture of orange ear plugs that they placed on the ground and called them "rubber bullets."

Sharpton getting put in place by several of his own. Loved their comments on voter id requirements.
Probably will not see this on MSM. Doubt if M. Moore will do a documentary on it either.
