Stern On Trump
Kind of what I suspected. Radio host Howard Stern, a friend of Trumps (though one who doesn't share his politics) says the presidency will be mentally hard on Trump because he really, really wants to be liked.
And then, at CNN, Andrew Kaczynski quotes more of Stern on Trump:
"I like Donald very much personally. I was shocked when he decided to run for president, and even more shocked that sort of, people took it seriously," Stern said."I remember saying to him when he announced his presidency, I remember being quite amazed, because I remember him being for Hillary Clinton," Stern added.
"And I remember him being very--I mean he was pro-abortion. So the new Donald Trump kind of surprised me."
Stern said he doesn't believe Trump has had a change of heart on issues like abortion, but is instead playing to his base.
The radio host said he also believed Trump ran for president solely to get a larger contract from NBC for "The Apprentice."
"I think it started out as like a kinda cool, fun thing to do in order to get a couple more bucks out of NBC for The Apprentice, I actually do believe that," Stern said.
"He just wanted a couple more bucks out of NBC, and that is why Donald is calling for voter fraud investigations. He's pissed he won. He still wants Hillary Clinton to win. He's so f--ing pissed, he's hoping that he can find some voter fraud and hand it over to Hillary."

Some guys on Los Angeles radio station KFI —famous for soothing the egos of squeaky-voiced, middle-income, socially-ineffectual white male listeners— made an argument like that last May or so...
...That Trump was one of the few men in America who, either by historical obliviousness or simple bad taste in decorating, might move into the White House and say "What a dump...!"
He didn't seem to want the gig, he'd just heard the job was available, and was willing to work harder to get it.

Huh? Whatever fraudulent votes there were, 90% of them went to Clinton, and we all know it. If Trump is hoping to find fraud, it's so that we can quit hearing that Hillary won the popular vote.
If Trump really didn't want to be President, that makes him the best choice for the job in my lifetime (I go back to the Truman Administration). Far as I'm concerned, anyone who wants that job is not to be trusted with it.

I thought he wanted out at various points too, but now I think he loves it. These are his people and he is basking in their love. Haters are going to hate and he knows that. As long as their are people who love him, it's all good with him.
Stern just sounds stupid btw.

The smarter you are, the quicker you will make the transition from being horrified at what he might do, to observing what he does do.
I see the process has started. It can only proceed as quickly as a person can change their own worldview. This may be accelerated with the realization that news media is offended that any public official does not check with them first as to what they should think or do.
Very soon, the adjective will change from, "horrified" to "surprised".

Maybe.
But he also has a "take no prisoners" attitude when it comes to people who slag on him. At least he's not willing to wind himself up into a pretzel shape to win favor with people who will never like him.
Reminds me of when preachers came to Lincoln to demand that Grant be fired because he was drunkard. I can't spare the man, he fights.
I voted very reluctantly for Trump. The last three months have proven that to have been a surprisingly good choice.

Well, Stern's made a career out of being a provocateur. The way to enjoy him is to decide at the outset that you aren't going to allow your chain to be yanked by anything he says or does. Once you've done that, then you can laugh at the silliness of it all. (And yes, Stern knows he's being silly.) Then, listening to him becomes fairly amusing, although the shtick does wear thin after a while.

I dont know when Stern spouted this drivel, but it is ignorant wishful thinking.
The option was not, and never has been, resign and hand the presidency over to Hillary (in their SJW wet dreams)
The option has alway been, resign and hand it over to Mike Pence.
Thre is no possible scenario, resignation, assassination , impeachment, or anything else that gives Hillary the presidency.

One of the things I find the most interesting about the caterwauling about Trump on the left:
These poor deluded idiots have gotten it into their heads that they can chase Trump from office if they protest and riot enough.
It's like they think the elected office of the Presidency is subject to the same popular approval and, pressures as some spineless vacillating Univeristy President who didn't abase himself often enough to suit BLM.

Because they're not fundamentally serious about governing a nation, or a university. The university to them is not a place to get an education, but to force the world to bend to them.
