Racial Hatred: It's A Living!
I was raised by both my parents and the books I read, to -- as Martin Luther King put it -- assess people "by the content of their character" and not by skin color or religion. To see people as individuals, that is.
However, it has become more acceptable than it ever was to hate certain groups of people -- judging by the openness of so many to be racist.
Playing a substantial role in this is the academic "progressivism" that is foundational to the new hate chic: hating or at least deriding those who aren't "of color" or identified by the movement as victims.
Here's an example of the new hate chic: 
She has a white husband. That must be fun. (See the lower of the two tweets in this screenshot first.)
If she had rationality instead of academic victimthink underlying her thinking, she'd understand that blanket statements about large groups of people are generally irrational, ugly, and wrong.
And if she had any historical knowledge, she'd understand that white people -- and especially Jews -- have been part of the civil rights movement since the start.

Equality in the Jewish tradition is based on the concept that all of God's children are "created in the image of God" (Genesis 1:27). From that flows the biblical injunction, "You shall have one law for the stranger and the citizen alike: for I, Adonai, am your God" (Leviticus 24:22).American Jews played a significant role in the founding and funding of some of the most important civil rights organizations, including the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) and the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC). In 1909, Henry Moscowitz joined W.E.B. DuBois and other civil rights leaders to found the NAACP. Kivie Kaplan, a vice-chairman of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations (now the Union for Reform Judaism), served as the national president of the NAACP from 1966 to 1975. Arnie Aronson worked with A. Philip Randolph and Roy Wilkins to found the Leadership Conference.
From 1910 to 1940, more than 2,000 primary and secondary schools and twenty black colleges (including Howard, Dillard and Fisk universities) were established in whole or in part by contributions from Jewish philanthropist Julius Rosenwald. At the height of the so-called "Rosenwald schools," nearly forty percent of southern blacks were educated at one of these institutions.
During the Civil Rights Movement, Jewish activists represented a disproportionate number of whites involved in the struggle. Jews made up half of the young people who participated in the Mississippi Freedom Summer in 1964. Leaders of the Reform Movement were arrested with Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in St. Augustine, Florida, in 1964 after a challenge to racial segregation in public accommodations. Most famously, Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel marched arm-in-arm with Dr. King in his 1965 March on Selma.
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 were drafted in the conference room of Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, under the aegis of the Leadership Conference, which for decades was located in the RAC's building. The Jewish community has continued its support of civil rights laws addressing persistent discrimination in voting, housing and employment against not only women and people of color but also in the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community and the disabled community.
Then again, who cares about history or what's rational? It seems hatred is a funding source -- after putting it out (quite calculatedly, I'd guess) gets some less-than-pretty tweets in response.

So she grants him an indulgence. How sweet of her. What's in it for him? I think I can name that tune in one note: it starts with a P, ends with a Y, and has a U and two S's in the middle. Me, if she was the last woman on Earth, I'd go find a knothole somewhere. No accounting for taste. But seriously: a lot of the militant feminists have husbands or boyfriends, or claim to. But it's clear from the way they talk about their men that they don't respect them. There's a weird psychological game they play: "How worthless and lacking in self-respect must you be in order to find me attractive?"

Anther twenty-something enters the real world, proclaims herself an expert in trivial matters, and demands the same level of veneration given to proven experts subject areas requiring effort to master.
She's Femmefeministe, hear her wail. The sad thing is that people like her are gaining political (and police) power and are seemingly unstoppable.
They seek to divide society, to steal the fruits of the labors of those who worked harder than they did. These are the people who would implement Mugabe-style asset seizures here, and with the same disastrous outcome.
They will destroy this country, and once destroyed, it will not be remade. And the world will be diminished for it. It took hard work, realism, and fortitude to make America; and yes, the willingness to defeat any who got in the way, even if by accident. And those virtues are in short supply in the world today.
There are not enough people left in positions of power and influence today who are advocating hard work, delayed gratification, and social temperance. They have been reduced to lone voices shouting in the wilderness, "pull up your pants" or "learn a skill and work hard." These prophets of sanity are dismissed as kooks, racists, homophobes, and sexists.
This is why Trump was elected - and perhaps why he had to be elected, if only to keep Hillary out, who would have enabled the laying of more of these anti-societal SJW minefields. While a less-than-exemplary president (and human being), he does represent a roadblock to the complete SJW-ization of America, albeit a temporary one.
The white working class is not the only one scared. Those African-Americans who do not buy into the SJW grievance culture also recognize that dismantling the hard work culture established by previous generations of Americans (white, black, and otherwise) will be the end of the greatest economic and political miracle the human race has ever seen and will not be of benefit to any race.

There was a list floating around the internet last month about 10 ways for white people to check their white privilege. Of course it was condescending and full of generalizations. The very last "lesson" was for white people to understand that whatever they do they will always be racist. At that point I pretty much said fuck it to the whole list. What's the point of following any of it? Might as well just roll with the whole racist thing if everything I do to fix the problem still keeps me a racist.

Exactly. Picture the proselytizer for an imaginary religion, who tells you this: "Our belief system condemns you, without any possibility of salvation! Now, why won't you convert?" You'd tell them to sod off. SJW's position regarding whites, especially white males, is the same. It makes it easy to dismiss them and their views out of hand.

The SJWs don't care. And they don't have to. They only have to get one half the population to the point where it is willing to subjugate the other half, by force if necessary. It's about dividing society to gain political power by making some other group the target of hate and blame, "them." It's about casting every problem of society, real or imagined, the result of "them."
Sound familiar? It should. The Nazis used the same tactics in their rise to power in the 1930s. Once in power, they were unable, and unwilling, to tamp down the hate they'd stirred up and the Holocaust became the most dramatic expression of that hate.
I'm not saying the SJWs are Nazis or want to put white people into labor camps or ovens. But, like the 1930s Nazis, they display a fervid devotion to their ideology and to demonizing their chosen targets; and no ability to calmly or rationally work with political opponents or those who express any disagreement with their philosophy. Much like the doomed Weimar Republic, politics in the US has become an all-or-nothing proposition.

I the whole social world can be explained by oppressors and victims, then white people must be the oppressors and therefore are evil. But this ignores the fact that every immigrant group to the US started out low economically and socially and were made fun of and discriminated against. Poles were called stupid. Irish were drunks and lazy. But these groups worked hard and assumed they could overcome this stigma and disadvantage, and they did. Jews were actively kept out of the Ivy League schools so they went to the state schools and went on to get Nobel Prizes.
For blacks, however, the "helping" by do-gooders has been so intensely focused on them being helpless, with additional problems arising from the drug war, that blacks are now in a socially-derived economic pit that whites do nothing to maintain. For example, before welfare was put in place, the % of black two-parent households was actually slightly higher than for whites and increasing numbers were becoming educated and middle-class (Thomas Sowell). Welfare and the drug war messed up those trends. The average white person had nothing to do with it. But if victimology is the explanation for everything, then you must find a perpetrator, even if false.
