Tax money to Planned Parenthood doubled in 10 years but look at the percentages of "healthcare" they provide, 2%, less than 1%, less than 2%.
Guess our taxes help them with back office support, lawyers to fight for their cause, and you know pay for everything needed to do abortions (but not the actual abortion itself).
Abortions increased but "healthcare" decreased to almost nothing.
"... less than two percent of breast exams performed in the United States."
"... less than one percent of these [PAP test] procedure.s"
"... less than two percent of U.S. cancer screenings performed for women."
"... Planned Parenthood’s annual abortions have increased 27 percent,” observes Live Action, noting the group performs 34.9 percent of abortions in the nation."
Interesting paragraph from WSJ article by Jason L. Riley.
"President Obama’s first budget proposal cut funds for black colleges, which mostly lack big endowments and depend on the government for a large share of their revenue. The Obama administration also stiffened eligibility requirements for loan programs that HBCU students, who tend to be low-income, are likelier to use. Following the changes, some 28,000 students at black colleges were denied loans and enrollment fell. Nevertheless, Mr. Obama and his education secretary, Arne Duncan, spoke regularly at black colleges without being booed or heckled."
YET TRUMP
"Trump hosted black college presidents in the Oval Office, something Barack Obama never got around to."
Damn juvenile.

I'm no Obama fan -- as you've seen for eight years of my posts. However, what concerns me about Trump is that he seems impulsive, unhinged, and basically like he has some nasty set of personality disorders.
Ah, Hillary, the bought and paid for presidential candidate. But a funny thing happened on the way to the coronation. Emphasis mine.
Misogyny played no significant role whatever in Hillary Clinton’s two defeats as a presidential candidate. This claim is such a crock! What a gross exploitation of feminism—in the service of an unaccomplished woman whose entire career was spent attached to her husband’s coat tails. Hillary was handed job after job but produced no tangible results in any of them—except of course for her destabilization of North Africa during her rocky tenure as secretary of state.
Let's ask Europe how that destabilization has worked out for them...

Why few people in flyover land actually believes the media.
All I see in that sentence is “duh.” Obviously Trump HOPED his friend and advisor Flynn would be okay. Did it need to be said? Was there some confusion on this point with Comey? Did Comey enter the meeting thinking maybe President Trump wanted to see his friend and advisor Flynn get eaten by the system?
I’m no lawyer, but I can’t see any judge or jury in the United States prosecuting someone for expressing a hope that the future turns out well for his friend.
Watch the headlines and pundits today transmogrify “hope” into “asked to end the Flynn investigation.”
"... the School of Communication class was originally billed as planning to “discuss, and possibly engage in, strategies for resistance” to Trump’s “sexism, white supremacy, xenophobia, nativism, and imperialism,” according to the 57-word course description by Professor Ann Savage."
I'm sure glad the "resistance" is based on reality (as in what has happened in 117 days).
From Mark Rippetoe, a summary of what is wrong with the modern media.
Most people are informed by their reading of the broader internet, by magazines, and by the mainstream media, all of whom have a superficial childlike understanding of quite literally everything they cover. If the topic is simple – a guy is dead – they can handle it with at least some level of accuracy. If the topic is complex – the guy is dead, but 3 other people are dead too, there may be others, and it's too early to tell why – they make it simple whether it is or not, because they cannot function at a level any higher than the simple. And when their 30-second piece is done, they're on to the next cursory examination of that which they know and care nothing about, never looking back. This is because of who they are and the constraints of their format. In every case, subtle detail escapes the formula.
When it comes to fitness, physical performance, and athletics, the media is no different. In an attempt to simplify the complex, they devote their attention to the two groups of people who attract the most viewers, clicks, and shares, and who will bring them the greatest return on their information-distribution investment.
Your concern for inflammatory rhetoric seems jejune and contextual.

"
It's not just subtle detail. Obvious, basic facts are wrong all the time, because the people writing the reports have zero knowledge of the subject, nor do they care. Some years ago, on an airline flight, I had a lawyer as a row-mate. We were talking about airplane crashes. (Hey, what's more fun to talk about when you're flying?) I was complaining about how media people were clueless about technological issues to the point where, in a recent news story about a crash, they had mis-identified the type of airplane. They said it was a Boeing 737, but in fact it was a McDonnell-Douglas MD80. (If you look at pictures of them, there are very obvious differences, such as where the engines are.) I was surprised when he told me that they were equally ignorant on basic law issues; he had seen a report about a courtroom trial the night before where the TV talking head clearly did not understand the difference between a prosecution witness and a defense witness. Even I know that, and I've never formally studied law. So I learned that it wasn't just tech issues. It's everything. Journalists almost literally have zero knowledge of any subject.
Besides it's Trump's to give, do you think there are no trades made during these discussions? What was given, what was it worth, did it endanger anyone when given?
"Had President Donald Trump's mistake remained a secret known only to our national security establishment (and of course the Russians ), the Islamic State group would probably never have learned of it. (Russia and the Islamic State are not exactly on speaking terms.) The Islamic State group learned about it only because current and former U.S. intelligence agents leaked it to the media, which published it. The Islamic State group may now use this information to track down and kill informers or double agents who may have provided the information to our ally. They may also speed up their plans to use laptops to blow up commercial airlines. None of this may have happened without the leak and publication."
Me again: I first heard of her when she wrote a two-part article for Cricket Magazine in the late 1970s called "Did the Irish Beat Columbus?" The first part was about the legend of St Brendan's voyage to "Paradise"; the second was about Timothy Severin's famous voyage. She even mentions the time the ice ripped a hole in Severin's boat and how the crew fixed it by sewing on a patch. Plus, when Severin's crew reached Newfoundland after months at sea, she wittily commented: "After (all that time), any land would have seemed like Paradise."
From Wikipedia (Fritz didn't write this, of course):
...It is theorized by some scholars, that the Latin texts of Navigatio Sancti Brendani Abbatis (The Voyage of St. Brendan the Abbot) dating back to at least 800 AD tell the story of Brendan's (c. 489–583) seven-year voyage across the Atlantic Ocean to a new land and his return. Convinced that the legend was based in historical truth, in 1976 Severin built a replica of Brendan's currach. Handcrafted using traditional tools, the 36-foot (11 m), two masted boat was built of Irish ash and oak, hand-lashed together with nearly two miles (3 km) of leather thong, wrapped with 49 traditionally tanned ox hides, and sealed with wool grease.
Between May 1976 and June 1977, Severin and his crew sailed the Brendan 4,500 miles (7,200 km) from Ireland to Peckford Island, Newfoundland, stopping at the Hebrides and Iceland en route. He considered that his recreation of the voyage helped to identify the bases for many of the legendary elements of the story: the "Island of Sheep", the "Paradise of Birds", "pillars of crystal", "mountains that hurled rocks at voyagers", and the "Promised Land". Severin's account of the expedition, The Brendan Voyage, became an international best seller, translated into 16 languages.
The boat is now featured at the Craggaunowen open-air museum in County Clare, Ireland...
