1. More than 98% of convicted felons are bread eaters.
2. Fully HALF of all children who grow up in bread-consuming households score below average on standardized tests.
3. In the 18th century when virtually all bread was baked in the home the average life expectancy was less than 50 years. Infant mortality rates were unacceptably high. Many women died in child birth. Diseases such as typhoid, yellow fever, and influenza ravaged whole nations.
4. More than 90% of violent crimes are committed withing 24 hours of eating bread.
5. Bread is made from a substance called 'dough'. It has been proven that as little as one pound of dough can be used to suffocate a mouse. The average person eats more bread than that in one month!
6. Bread has been proven to be addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water to eat begged for bread after only two days.
Proposed Restrictions
1. No sale of bread to minors.
2. No advertising bread within 1000 ft of a school.
3. A 300% federal tax on all bread to pay for the societal ills we might associate with bread.
4. No animal or human images, nor any primary colors (which may attract children) may be used to promote bread usage.
5. A $40.2 billion fine on the three biggest bread manufacturers.
Remember: "Think globally, act idiotically."

For those of you who talk about alcohol being legal to justify legalizing other drugs, listen to Claudia Christian. This is a very beautiful, seriously intelligent woman who was... watch the video.
Listen carefully for the word, "millions". It's a far larger disaster than we think, hoisting a Bud Light during the game.
This is why I insist that using alcohol legalization as justification for legalizing other drugs is fallacious. Explain the ROI for your drug of choice, please.

Fewer women being sexual assaulted by the police on the side of the road.
Rad, many of us who are willing to legalize things recognize there is a cost in money, lives, and dignity associated with that. But there is a cost associated with prohibition as well. The question is which cost is greater. Especially considering how complete prohibition is not possible. As you often say they are willing to do anything to get that next fix. The rest of us aren't able to protect them from themselves.

Legalization doesn't make this problem go away.
"Fewer women being sexual assaulted by the police on the side of the road."
Really? There are certainly more rapes of women (and men) by others under the influence of alcohol than any police-state fantasist can imagine.
Try again. There was no thought out into that one.

There is a vast difference between rape by a drugged up citizen and rape by a completely sober police officer who is just 'doing their job'. We had a post about this just a few days ago. It isn't that people like me are refusing to recognize the millions harmed by drugs it is that you Rad are unwilling to recognize the millions harmed by our police due to prohibition.

If the government can tell you how much f a substance you are legally allowed to have due to the harm is causes you or the cost to society, how long until that substance is sugar, or beef, or cheese
At what point do you see the authoritarians telling us what to do deciding 'we have enough power now, we dont need anymore'?
And that is the real issue highlighted right there Rad. You refuse to admit there are any harms associated with prohibition no matter how blatant and obvious they are. Instead you say if people would only stop wanting to violate the prohibition then all those problems would go away. A pretty naive viewpoint. And the same people on the other side say they will continue to violate the prohibition no matter what.
No, your fallacy does not apply here. And yes, millions. Just like your millions.
