I remember other accusations about Gore from masseuses (masseusi?) many years ago, but this week was the first time I'd heard of GHWB getting frisky. (In about 1992, Spy Magazine wrote an article saying he'd cheated on his wife, but that was after the good editors of the magazine had left, so nobody cared.)
It may be that America is turning some grand corner in sexual sophistication... But I bet it's really unlikely that anyone, perhaps especially women, will be any happier hereafter.
We are not that deft about such matters at the requisite scale, and there are a lot of distractions.

I am eagerly looking forward to her proofs...oh, I guess there are none? at least give us some idea of what truth is, even if it isn't Truth or even Truth'.
However, Giordano is hopeful that feminists can work towards creating new approaches that don’t conflate science with truth.
“We need to disrupt the epistemic authority of Science…[and] the assumption that science = truth,” Giordano writes, further arguing that this can be done by implementing a “feminist science practice that explicitly unsticks Science from Truth.”

Considering he was 90 and in a wheelchair... I'll let you fill in the details. And then we have Elizabeth Warren, who, thirty years after the fact, decrees that she was chased around an office -- by a man who had polio and could barely walk. #BlessYourHeart

Sara Giordano argues that "traditional science" relies on "a colonial and racialized form of power," and must be replaced with an "anti-science, antiracist, feminist approach to knowledge production.”
Bring back the primacy of dogma over rational observation. The sun revolves around a flat Earth again!
Even the monolithic Church accepted scientific truths when they contradicted religious dogma.
...Giordano, who left the field of neuroscience to become a Women’s Studies professor at UC-Davis, opened up about her feelings towards the science....
A Women's Studies professor? Well, that should tell you most of what you need to know about her. She's a prophet for the new Church.

Don't forget that Bush the First also told her a dirty joke. Her virginal ears must have blistered when they heard it. So fragile. I just wonder, since she is so sensitive, where did she get the courage to simulate a sex act while playing the adulteress Anna Strong on Turn. How did she survive? Fainting couch? "Adult" coloring books? Kittens? I only hope that with time and treatment she can rejoin the adult world.

I think it's important to draw a distinction between dirty old men and quid-pro-quo power abusers but perhaps that's a sympathy born of the notion that I will someday be the former, but never the later.

What kind of a name is Kayn, anyway?
Twenty-year-old Cheyanne Harris and 28-year-old Zachary Koehn (kayn) were arrested Wednesday on charges of....
Funny how the Fox version of the story doesn't give the original spelling.
