Australian nationalist Bruce Blair Cottrell (who goes by Blair), breaks up a busker's act over his impossibly form-fitting outfit.

The crowd seems to be squarely in the street performer's corner and in the end, the police are called and advise Blair that the performer isn't doing anything wrong.

In following the discussion on Twitter, most mock Blair's stance and suggest that he's the self-appointed modesty police, further saying that it's no different from lycra biker shorts or Speedos.

I disagree with the comparison. One of the standards we have for what is considered indecent exposure is exposure of the anal cleft. Although the performer had his ass covered (literally), the outfit was so form-fitting that his ass was plainly visible. He may as well have just painted it. I've never seen a Speedo or biker shorts do that. In the end, this is the kind of controversy that the busker had every intention of provoking, and Cottrell gave him exactly what he wanted.
