Fuck political correctness. If your only alternative to using a wheelchair to get around is dragging yourself along on the ground, you're wheelchair-bound.
Compassionate soul, too. Doesn't even bother to make a small donation to help keep this unfortunate woman in her hotel until better accommodations can be found.

While her response was, perhaps, worthy of consideration in the long run, it did nothing to address the immediate problem, and in fact complicated the path to resolution by inviting the discussion to go off the rails on a tangent. It was virtue signaling without virtue.

Plue, what would the recently-deceased Charles Krauthammer say about this insanity? He was wheelchair-bound for most of his life, and I doubt that he, being an actual SANE person, would have cared if he were described that way.
