For the past week, the press has been brutalizing President Trump for hiring an African-American woman to a high-level job and trusting her too much. That was their strongest line of attack that wasn't fake news.
M. Night Shyamalan movie plot twist: The court order was issued because the unionized contractors, plumbers, and electricians saw this self-made compound as a threat to their income.
Because he one hopped the ball, the third baseman scored an unassisted double play, first by tagging the bag and getting a force on the runner at second, and then tagging the wayward runner at third, then the runner from first is actually forced by the throw to second. He does leave the base path and would be out by rule, that's just icing on the cake because he was already out.
It just took a minute to realize it.

The Deportation of Mexican-Americans in the 1930s: Putting aside the merits of deporting legal immigrants during the Great Depression, the failure to give American citizens a reasonable opportunity to prove their citizenship was criminal. What’s odd about this otherwise informative article, however, is that while it’s about deportations that continued through the late 1930s, somehow Donald Trump is mentioned three times but Franklin Roosevelt not at all.
Crid, I watched that clip a dozen times (which is really annoying since mlb.com makes you watch an ad every single time). I think I figured out what happened:
* The ump ruled that the third baseman caught the line drive on a bounce, so the force was on all the runners.
* The third baseman went after the runner at third, who thought the ball had been caught. The runner got back to third, but then fell off and was tagged. One out.
* In the process, the third baseman stepped on the bag, forcing out the runner coming from second. (I don't know if her realized he did that.) Two out.
* He threw to the second baseman, who caught the ball and stepped on second, forcing the runner coming from first. Three out. He then went after the runner and tagged him, but that didn't matter because the runner was already out.
I used to do some umpiring for softball leagues, but I don't think I ever had to unravel anything that complicated.
Perfect, CD... That is exactly what I needed to read. I was a clumsy kid and didn't play the game enough to have the simple mathematics pounded into my consciousness. Apparently it was the same for the offensive team... If the three on-base runners had all stood still, it would have been a single out, right? And a grand slam might still have been just a few seconds away.
A couple of the other stories about it suggests that the shortstop knew what was going on, as did a few of the defensive players around the field who were pointing at things for the umpires.

With the bases loaded and the ball caught on a bounce, I don't think they had a choice to run or stand still.

Fact checking the news -
1. Find a viral news article
2. Make up claims the author didn't make
3. Label it "fake news"
4. Slander the author or news outlet
5. Admit the article is correct in the last pargraph
