Although, given Trump's history with race relations, such as being the most visible birther ever to spew a font of disinformation, I agree that progressives, liberals and moderates wouldn't be quite so willing to laugh it off.

And speaking of Trump's involvement with the birther movement, Trump is now operating under the impression that he can unilaterally revoke birthright citizenship.

He could, I suppose, by revoking jurisdiction. But that would mean that illegals are no longer subject to our laws. Even if they broke the law, we could not arrest them. Shoot them? Yes. Arrest them? No.
