The problem is that they're ugly.

PS America is one giant act of "cultural appropriation." It's a wonderful thing.
Grievance hunters should go out and help people instead of whinging like big girls' blouses on Twitter. (Words happily "appropriated" from my Brit friends.) https://t.co/dvB6YIi1br

Handsome counter-intuition.

"Cultural appropriation"? OK.
How about you tell us all just how your culture claims ownership of a freakin' hair style?
Wow, I am impressed!
Maybe I should bitch about your using everything you can see.
Only the culture capable of producing prosperity can be blamed for not giving it away.
If a hairstyle is everything you know, I understand being jealous of it. Now go build something else.

Those models have the look of men who've been told that their balls will be removed momentarily.

Forget it, Jake.
It's Twitter.

Religious violence is stupid.
Now do one about a gay Mohammed, Netflix!
No?

I'll give them back the hair, but I'll expect my Polio vaccinations to be returned to me. They're part of *my* culture and I guess we're not sharing things any more.

The problem today is that parents don't teach their children to respect and obey authority.
That girl should've just let the officer pee on her.

Don't pee on my back and tell me it's raining.
Too soon?

Ah, the joys of Cuban socialism: waiting in line for your ration of bread.

Ironically they don't look like modern cornrows, they look like ancient Egyptian wigs. Can you appropriate a culture from thousands of years ago?

Can you appropriate a culture from thousands of years ago?
Yes. As an ex-pat, you might not be familiar with a subset of black culture that says that they're descendants of the pharaohs of old. I don't know, I wasn't there.
I'm surprised Wikipedia has this

From the internet comes this poygnintly snotty yuck-yuck by the usually-stuffy "Twitter" computer service....

Seems like Brits are going to be saving a lot of money on security services this year.

Thankfully, the comments are quite sympathetic. But you won't believe some other horror stories that popped up in the comments, like this one:
"I've had surgery twice in the last two years and both times my co-workers asked me how my vacation was (they've said this plenty of times actually)...sorry my dude, laying on the couch not able to lift more than 10lbs while my body heals isn't a fucking vacation, but thanks.
"Yes they knew it was for surgery, yet every time we've talked about when I've been gone they're always like 'Oh yeah, when you were on holidays/vacation.'"

Hunter's one of out betters, IRA. He shouldn't have to appear in a mere court of law. /sarc
Also, I do not have much sympathy for Prince Andrew.
And also, it appears as if Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey are running Microsft security.

Lenona,
They are an asshole at the very least for not recognizing coworkers saying 'how was your vacation' were being sarcastic.
Ben at January 23, 2020 7:57 AM
How do you know? Sounds like a pretty weird way of being sarcastic. Besides, were you there?
For those who didn't read the thread: It's about a couple (the husband is a firefighter) with a baby. In a nutshell, the husband doesn't realize that there's nothing restful about caring for a baby and doesn't want to acknowledge that having one means more housework for BOTH parents, even if that means just barely having enough time to sleep. (A sleepless mother might drop the baby, after all!)
