This Twitter thread is jaw-dropping, and well worth a tap or two of the 'translate' link. I had no idea. (I've always loved polarized sunglasses... Well worth the extra ten bucks.)

Two well worths... I feel bad. That one was written over about twenty minutes, and concentration melted.
Also, those fancy new "smart"-phones that the kids use can sometimes tell you if you have the Wuhan virus.
(As of today/Tuesday, we're told you'll want to go on supplemental oxygen as soon as possible if your levels are low, even if you don't perceive a problem. This is a fast-moving story; after worrying about access to ventilators for two months, we're now told they're not as helpful as sleeping on your side.)

The oil thing was Monday's news, but here's a brief perspective piece.

Just rip the band aid off. That will teach the young man a lesson that will stay with him the rest of his life, and will never grow dim or unclear. Sort of like trying to carry a cat by its tail.
Meanwhile, fear is the enemy. And cortisol. And a depressed immune system.
If it isn't, I say we lift off and nuke Twitter from orbit.

Oh, Karen's of St. Louis. So busted.
Talk radio great Jamie Allman filed a Sunshine law request for the actual emails of St. Louis County residents who’ve snitched on local entrepreneurs trying to make a living. Most of the complaints were unfounded, involving people “turning in” companies that were deemed essential by the county.
...
BRITANY J****** SHOULD HAVE ASKED FIRST
My company is remaining open and calling themselves essential, which in my opinion, is a very far stretch. We make labels. My position, along with many others at the business, is NOT essential. Labels Direct, Inc. in Chesterfield, MO on Trade Center Dr. I don’t want them to know I reported. Is this anonymous to the company? Thank you!
Sorry, Brittany, no, this is not anonymous. The good news is you probably won’t be pressured to return to work anytime soon.
In summary, we propose here that trials to test the potential of vaccination with OPV should be quickly explored as a tool to mitigate the pandemic until vaccines specific to SARS-CoV-2 become available. If the outcome of trials proves positive, this approach could be used to control this pandemic as well as subsequent waves of COVID-19, if they occur.
Some of the dense-packed living is economic, but some of it is cultural. When the Insta-Wife was a grad student in NYC and finally managed to get her own tiny apartment, there was a family of 8 Ecuadorians living in the same size apartment above her. The kids felt sorry for her for having to live alone.
The Comprehensive Forfeiture Act fixed all of these problems. The new bill was introduced by Senator Joe Biden in 1983 and it was signed into law the next year. With this law, federal agents had nearly unlimited powers to seize assets from private citizens. Now the government only needed to find a way to let local and state police join the party.
As the world went into lockdown, Sweden opted for a different approach to tackling coronavirus: cities, schools and restaurants have remained open. This was judged by critics to be utterly foolish: it would allow the virus to spread much faster than elsewhere, we were told, leading to tens of thousands of deaths. Hospitals would become like warzones. As Sweden was two weeks behind the UK on the epidemic curve, most British experts said we’d pay the price for our approach when we were at the peak. Come back in two weeks, I was told. Let's see what you're saying then. So here I am.
I'm happy to say that those fears haven’t materialised.
