Another 4.4 million applied for unemployment last week. That takes us to 26 million jobs lost since the shutdowns started. That is a 17% increase or around 21% unemployment in total.
On the bright side there has been a consistent drop in the number of new unemployment applications for three weeks now. Following the trend line there would be ~3M new applications this week, putting unemployment around 24%. Though there may be an uptick as one of the recent corona laws gets into effect and contractors become eligible for benefits.

We're in the middle of our second hours-long power outage of the social distancing era. Thanks, Duke Power. An unreliable power supply makes working from home difficult. Imagine if I'd been in the middle of a meeting.
Company buildings usually have generators for emergency operations. I do, too, but my system requires a manual set up.

An unreliable power supply
Someone runs off the road and hits a utility pole.
A squirrel slips and falls on a transformer.
Some goober drops a tree on a transmission line.
A tornado rips thru a transmission line, and blows a dozen transformers.
All in addition to Duke's internal issues.

Some guy shoots a transformer with his shotgun, 'Look at the pretty fireworks!'
Once you find out about all the normal issues with running the electrical grid you don't worry too much about islamofascists attacking it. US citizens are already doing that.
