Tasks you put off charge you emotional interest: You spend all this time feeling bad about what you've left undone. (Reminding myself of this helps me push myself do to tasks I dread doing instead of waiting and accumulating minutes or hours of dread.)#procrastination

Six trillions is a lot of trillions. Great column from Kaus—
I think he just doing some end-of-life Lefty masturbation, indulging every liberal daydream with orgiastic fervor because he never had any principles of his own anyway. He has no over-arching vision for America or anyone else, he's just a mouse pushing the button for pellets. Doing so has made him inexplicably successful across a very, very long rodent lifetime.Crid at May 2, 2021 5:30 AM
Twitter- Despite the chubby subject, we all recognize this mood.

That's because Biden's three programs totaling almost $6 trillion are little more than hodgepodges of individual Democrat lawmaker wishlists. Nothing in those bills is a comprehensive program.
Exactly. He'll go to his grave smug in the knowledge that he proposed to a compliant Congress and signed into law all those Lefty fantasies - not a one of which was built on a strong enough foundation to survive a Republican president or an outbreak of common sense.

Whether some people "believe all women" depends on the color of the accused. Those people are racist.

Not so much color as political persuasion or usefulness to a Lefty cause. Just ask Bill Cosby.

It's been a few years now, but Cosby still hurts like Hell. Twenty years ago he was thought of as a relatively *conservative* voice… 'Tuck in your shirt and say "ask," not "axe."' Whether his doctorate was presumptuous or not — and there was a range of opinion — he was a convincing voice for giving undervalued black cultural contributors their due, and he never tried to convince anyone that he himself hadn't (eventually) been paid what he was worth,

That's maybe optimistic. Republicans don't actually hack at budgets & programs the way they ought. Republicans and Democrats both take authority from pulling the levers of regulation and government intrusion.
And, um, an outbreak of common sense is not to be feared.

I've always said, if you get raped by a cis White hetero guy, it's better that it happens in a Liberal area. If you get raped by any other guy better hope it's in a Conservative one.
