I stand by those statements, Crid. The CDC should have been less credulous and rejected the obviously political and non-scientific recommendations, reports, and guidelines Fauci gave them. Truly tragic.

Note I didn't say Fauci was in charge of the CDC. You should still try being more honest.

What is really funny is as director of NIAID Fauci has also decided what research to fund and what research to not fund, just like Redfield. You may find it educational that not all scientific research done by the US federal government gets managed by the CDC.
