I joke that a friend's boyfriend, who is a pilot for AA, is, like, the only qualified person in Los Angeles. Everybody else is a "consultant" or whatever. The FAA or somebody makes sure the guy knows his shit so the plane won't end up in some Marina Del Rey lady's daisies.
