Will They Stand Customers Up Against A Wall And Gun Them Down?
There's actually a "Che Cafe" at UCSD -- yes, glorifying the mass-murdering sociopath, Che Guevara.
To understand just a bit about the human horror dispenser that was Che Guevara...Allison Aldrich writes at Collegiate Times:
Fidel Castro recognized this ruthlessness about Guevara, and placed him in charge of La Cabana prison in Cuba, where he was judge, jury and executioner. Although exact numbers are impossible to find given their haphazard application, Guevara is estimated to have sentenced over 500 people to execution at La Cabana prison without proper trials.Perhaps students and celebrities would be a little less likely to support Guevara had they been present for one particularly grisly execution.
Several men who survived La Cabana prison recall a night when a 14-year-old boy was shoved into their holding cell. When asked what he did, he gasped that he had tried to defend his father from the firing squad, but was unsuccessful.
Moments later, guards dragged the boy out of the cell, and Che Guevara himself ordered the boy to kneel down.
The jailed men screamed "assassins!" and watched out of their cell window as Guevara took out his pistol, put the barrel to the back of the boy's neck, and fired.
Perhaps Carlos Santana should use a little more discretion when he defends Guevara as "all about love and compassion," and students should similarly do a little more research before buying into the hype about a man responsible for tearing apart the families and lives of so many innocent Cubans.
Regarding the most recent celebration of Guevera, Antoinette Aho writes at Campus Reform:
The CHE Cafe at the University of California, San Diego, a space that pays "homage to the Argentine revolutionary" Che Guevara, is attempting to restart this year after operating off-and-on since 1980.As its constitution states, the cafe is "a unique meeting and gathering space for radical/leftist/progressive political groups and events."
The CHE Cafe is registered as a student organization for the 2021 fall semester after being inactive on social media in the last year, although posts from 2020 and earlier include concerts at the Che venue and a radical book club.
Campus Reform spoke with Bradley Anderson, a student and member of CHE cafe, who said the space's name is a "tongue in cheek" acronym for "Cheap-Healthy-Eats."
"There's no real contemporary connection to Che Guevara or his views [or] morality," Anderson stated, attributing the mural of Guevara, the Marxist revolutionary, which the CHE Cafe's building, as having "historical and artistic value in keeping it as it is."
An editable public document organized by Che Cafe members provides more insight into the organization's association with the Marxist figure.
The document states:
"Take your pick: Che--or C.H.E.--as standing for (or at least a gentle nod to) 'Coffee Hut Express,' or 'Cheap Healthy Eats.' Either way, legend has it that such an innocuous acronym was proposed as a way to get administrative agreement on the name, and thereupon the iconic imagery would truly evoke the collective's revolutionary ethos."
Path to administrative agreement is what I'm buying.
More Guevera reality.

Perhaps Carlos Santana should use a little more discretion when he defends Guevara as "all about love and compassion"
You could make scrolls of Idiot Hippie Boomers, and old Carlos "Devadip" Santana would be at the top of all of them.

Sounds like he's trying to have it both ways. A mural of Che to attract all the hip young socialists to his cafe and a denial of any connection to Che to placate any older customers and customers less-enthralled with the murderous thug from Argentina.

In addition to being a murderous thug, he was also a very virulent racist. His views on Mexicans and blacks should be sufficient for *checks notes* cancellation in the modern era.
*double checks notes* Oh, he's a white hispanic. Gotcha.

A cool t shirt goes a long way in rehabilitating mass murderers especially if they are commies sticking into Uncle Sam.

Did anyone mention that he killed gays? Yep, he did.
The Left keeps honoring mass murderers (Che, Castro, Mao). They simply deny all the horrors these guys perpetrated. It should be a wake-up to the rest of us. Did you notice that Antifa frequently waves around the communist flag? That Bernie Sanders defends cuba and russia?

A cafe with a "revolutionary ethos?" Does that mean they are ready to have it firebombed?

You could bring him back from the dead and he will tell to a live audience all the atrocities he's done and the morons will still defend him.
The Malcolm Caldwell syndrome is strong on these morons and just like with him, there's no cure for that disease.
